I was thinking, a lot of people want to see old party members return, and while that's okay, it's neat to get new ones as well! Old characters are nice once in a while, but when they keep recycling previous companions the world starts to seem small.
SO. Here's my thought for a new companion. - What if we got a Blood Mage? I don't mean like Merrill, but a REAL blood mage! A psychotic, chaotic evil, demon worshipping blood mage with a symbiotic relationship with a Rage demon similar to Anders/Justice. "How could this work? They'd never work for the protagonist, ESPECIALLY when you can play a goodie-two-shoes Chantry-goer!" I can already hear you saying, but what if it was a Gollum like situation, where in exchange for sparing his/her life, they accompany us on our many adventures?! We'd be expecting a stab in the back every time they come along, but that's the fun part! :-D
Also they would need Sheogorath's VA if male.
Thoughts?

I'd love that, and make him/her a love interest. Then we could learn from them the blood mage specialization and people would notice it and being a blood mage would make some sense at all.

I think that would be awesome. I want more colorful characters in the games. A lot of your squadmates can be quite vanilla and after a while I find myself taking people that aren't boring despite the party imbalance it creates.
