I am not sure what the benefit of debating this point is. If you make any headway, the IT folks will claim it didn't even really happen anyway.

Can you point to the symtoms of biotics in the scene.
Domination has discoloration,a high pitch whine, and  lostof thought.
Stasis has a layer of a barrier over the body.
Pull floats the person...
I can go one.
Also, if it's both that still means Shepard is in the process of indoctrination anyway, opening up to all posibilities for the theory to be true.

You have to presume IT to see IT elements in the ending.

You have a guy with indotriantion implant in the room with Shepard. And your saying it something else...The effects start before Shep even knew hw was in the room.

It could be both biotics and indoctrination working in unison to attack the mind and the body simultaneously. Unfortunately neither really work, and TIM gets shot or convinced to top himself.


But it's also possible that it's supposed to be something new entirely and Bioware decided that we didn't need to know the specifics.

We see certain things when certain biotic powers are shown, none of those things are shown, only indoctrination symptoms.

He was controlling them both WAAAY before his hand goes glowing with reaper power.

It could just be that the Dev's put in the graphic so that no one would speculate whether or not Shepard was under TIM's control at that point - especially because the movement that TIM uses is one that I have seen multiple characters use throughout the series (most notably, Anderson uses the same threatening fist at the very end of ME2 when he talks about drving the Reapers back to darkspace).

I very much doubt it is biotics, because TIM references that he is "wielding" the power of the Reapers ("Look at the power THEY wield."), and I do not know of a single reaper that has ever used biotics before.

It's from the lore, scenes and story it's not over estamated. The lore says, buzzing noises in the mind head aches,oily shadows, whispers  in the mind, and troble moving are symtoms of indoctriantion. Shepard in the scene with TIM who has reaper indoctrination implats in him that can control husk, has 
buzzing noises in the mind head aches,oily shadows, whispers  in the mind, and troble moving.....No other thing in ME has allthese symtoms all at once.

I think the Influence Theory is most likely. It explains some of the odder things, and why Shepard can be controlled by TIM, but the whole thing seems WAY too elaborate to be a simple trick of the Reapers. Plus all the other flaws with the other theories.
