When I first read about it, it sounded great. I even thought it might be true. At this point however, I'm fairly certain IT can be thrown out the window. Plus, I'm just sick of people bringing it up. I keep reading comments people are posting saying that the ending can't be saved without IT. People who say that must have very unimaginative minds. There's lots of different ways I'm sure the ending can be salvaged. Personally, I'd be really disappointed with BioWare if they decided to use IT. It would be nothing new to us, and if BioWare just decided to use IT then they wouldn't really be making up for their terrible ending. I'd much rather them prove to us that they CAN write their own good ending. I know they can. They have written plenty of damn good stories in ME, from random little dialogue stories between people on the Citadel to DLC missions in ME1 and 2. For some reason they seem to have failed to write a good ending for ME's primary plot. I'd like to see them make up for that on their own rather than just cop out and go with what everyone else is telling them to go with.
Anyone else sick of IT?

Again, I'm not saying IT was a bad idea. It was. I'm just sick of it, and it's been so hyped up now that I'd rather see BioWare come up with their own solution for the ending.

Including 'what you see is what you get, deal', I can't go into one thread about the endings without it turning into IT. I'd LIKE to talk about the pros and cons of control and synthesis without being informed I am wrong and my Shepards failed. I rather like the aspect of the endings where there's three equal choices with different pluses and minuses, and the theory of the endings in general. I do want clarification on what we got, and expansion. I don't think they're beyond redeeming or that IT is THE ONLY POSSIBLE ANSWER.

It was a fun balm to soothe the wound Bioware dealt to the collective soul of the fandom. Now it's been overanalyzed to death, and most have forgotten that it's just elaborate fan fiction. Bioware's going to release some lame cutscenes that don't remove Starbaby and his ABC choices, rendering the DLC a waste of time. I like the idea that indoctrination in ME3, since it's a major plot point.
I'm neutral on the indoctrination theory, as at times it includes really weird nitpicky points.
I dislike that the indoctrination theory seems to incite a lot of personal attacks on BSN.

I sure am, if you notice when you talk about the end the people that believe the IT automatically start talking like IT is real.

I don't hate IT, just the jehova's witness type subscribers to it. You know, those guys, the ones who think they're right no matter what and that all other fan theories are wrong, and don't mind preaching from a high horse about it.
Those few people have done more damage to IT than any other force to it, all it takes are a few ****s to make the whole theory seem illegitimate.

Stick to the "Blue babies" thread. It's fairly clean.... Of Indoctrination Theory, anyway.
