I've seen nothing from Bioware's PR other than them avoiding the issue. Let alone saying or implying the ending is free due to fan complaints.

I mean the ending only exists due to those complaints, it's not a new one just an extended one and Bioware paid for the actors to come back and redo them.

I cannot provide sources. I simply stating how I interpretate Bioware's response. I see their actions as them being completely suprised at the sheer negative response.

Or acting surprised at the response, look at the free publicity this game has gotten, heck even appearing on financial sites, there are no other games I can think of that have spread across the internet as fast as this one, even negative publicity can be a good thing, get everyone talking and people come to see what the fuss is about.

My only beef with IT is that it forces BW to admit that either:

1) they intended the real ending to be DLC all along

or

2) they didn't think of IT themselves (because it would mean #1 is true).

My problem with the IT is that people assume that bioware MUST continue the story in some way.

A metaphorical interpretation of the ending is fine and dandy, but it has to stop once it hits the proverbial "forth wall".

Insofar as I can tell, relatively few people hate IT. They're just really tired of seeing it everywhere and then being insulted if they say they don't believe. It gets old quickly.

They use some very laughable "logic" to justify their "Theory" like "Shepard doesn't question starchild at all!!!!" , were these clowns on some cocaine binge and missed all the auto-dialogue up the yin-yang that happened in the rest of the game?

It's kinda cute, really. Then again, I get lulz from watching threads on CT message boards too. Logic and reason really don't come into play.
