This is the link to the myspace page of the model for Leliana.
Hmm... anyone else getting the feeling that she was sort of "censored out"? The artwork there and Miss Kittycat or whatever the name is don't look like the final Leliana at all (and I'm glad she doesn't, actually).
The same applies to Morrigan, it seems like Bioware changed both character models a lot late in the development only to make them look less like those two or the concept art. Maybe they were chosen back when the devs rode on that Marylin Manson wave, and later they did everything to roll back and stay away from that goth style?
Your right I think, or the graphics in this game were to be way better, but scaled back for release.

Yeah. Saw bits of an episode a few days ago. When I saw the guy I was like: 'that's Alistair?'

Nuts...she didn't win 'Best Voice' at the VGA. Oh well, maybe next time/award.

Even though she's a great deal older than me I've always thought she was incredibly beautiful. Even moreso than the girls picked the be the body models. (For the default human-female body? Because they're the same dimensions in game.)

Yup. Gotta agree, particularly on the second point...MR-9 wrote...

2) Corinne Kempa is much sexier than that old and wrinkled bag that voiced Morrigan.
3) Truth.

Claudia Black is beautiful woman in my eyes, natural looking. Not like all the Plastic Dolls running around in the various medias in todays world. Shes a real woman, And her voice is super... if i was a sailor and she a siren, i whould have been doomed for sure.
... What is it with this obssesion over Alistair and Claudia Black? Alistair isn't real and Claudia is 37 but looks like she's in her late 40's.

I'm obsessed with the fact that is possible to have differing standards of beauty from person to person.
The fact remains beyond debate that Claudia Black contributed more to Morrigan than those girls they glanced at before they made the face morphs.

these characters have so much personality showing through in the game it is amazing. Mannerisms, expressions, attitude. I guess if you can see past the cleavage you miss all that. I am sure the artists used more for inspiration than the a haircut.
Are you reading? It is not possible. Physical dimensions per Race/Sex are FIXED. They all look the same, aside from the face and I'm sure those ladies didn't inspire the voice actors or dialog writers, mainly because the two of them are models.
EDIT: I will always note this one exception: Fat models. The fat people models in the game are a different dimension than the others.
For Example: Every human male you meet in this game will be the same height, weight, shoe size, shoulder width, arm length etc. because they are copies of the same code.

the attitude conveyed by the characters is very apparent when you look at the full photo shoot thing. And something that nobody ever bothers to discuss about Morrigain is the spider eyes. They obviously gave her some of that shape shifter look for dramatics. It worked well.

I'm pretty sure that didn't happen because the article states they lent "their curves" to the game. No other contribution is ever mentioned. And I'm pretty sure they didn't get Morrigan's "spider eyes" from any real living person.
