I have a level 12 warrior and want to level him to champion. How do I do that? I think I need a manual but cant find one. any hints?

You can become champion by rescueing Arl Eamon (Redcliffe)

Without corrupting the Ashes, afaik. If you corrupt the ashes, you unlock Reaver but pass on Champion.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

You only need to unlock a spec once... so if you're not sure before you go to unlock Reaver... save before talking to Leonidas... sorry... Kolgrim, go and unlock Reaver, making sure Leliana and Wynne aren't in your party when you defile the ashes. Then just reload, kill Kolgrim, make your pilgrimage to the holy waste bin, get your pinch of magic dead lady ash and go revive Eamon and unlock Champion.

You're wrong.  There are no mutually exclusive specialization unlocks in the entire game, they're all seperate.
