Well exactly what it says on the tin i lost disc 1.
but i have disc 2 and the code, i am not registered but i don't if you can register that one anyway so it's all a moo point.
any suggestions?

Did you try Redeeming the code in Origin? Maybe it'll give you the digital version. This worked for me with DA2 and Dead Space 2. I had physical DA2 and DS2 on Steam, and entering both codes gave me Origin copies.
Edit: I meant Mass Effect 2, not DA2. I also got a copy of DA2 in Origin from registering it here I think since I didn't enter it into Origin, but the other two I got from Redeeming their CD keys in Origin.
