I get this message everytime I try to go to Blacklake. I have finished the trial , went to the Sunken Flagon and now have to visit Alderon in Blacklake. Everytime I try to go there I get booted back to the desktop with this error. The game has worked great up until now. I really don't want to restart a save before the trial. I would probably just go play something else. It really sucks having this much time in a game and can't go any further due to this.

I was able to get past that part after retrying the saves dozens of times. It went fine for a while and now is starting it again, and doing it everytime I go to Crossroad Keep. Was this game ever tested?

Sef manager errors are normally a corrupted file in your install.

I don't suppose you have DEP (Data Execution Prevention) on? I'm pretty sure that's the message it used to give me occasionally. If so, might be worth trying it with that turned off (or just on key windows programs).
