Is there a way using the toolset or 2DA editors? Does anyone know which files to edit?

Currently I'm playing a 2handed warrior and I'm having problems with a particular deathblow - a glitched one where my character swings the sword left to right but the music cuts. This is most frequent with creatures like wolves.

However, what is most annoying is when this deathblow plays during an ogre deathblow, it's just not right! And I intend to fix it. But I need help from experienced modders who have looked through the files.
