All that said, I'm going based on whats logical not what makes the game harder. Leaving little slivers out of obvious parts of the LZs for no other reason than they were lazy and just made it a simple circle (same goes for DLs) is a bit shameful.
Then there's the point of illogical LZs in that most have no cover whatsoever. Yes you can run to the other side to draw the enemies away but no military force would ever be stupid enough to do something like that and no military leader would be stupid enough to pick an LZ that the unit can't defend.
For me it just comes down to what makes sense given the situation presented.
@Cosmo: Yeah I may have made that bit a tad large but it really comes down to how far should be able to be. I mean seriously, the way it is, The end of ME2 should have been a game over because Shepard was too far away from the Normandy.
Oh, what's wrong with my blueberry? ; )
I'm going to make more images showing what I feel would be good LZs for all the remaining maps. I'll have them up soon.
