This must prove it.

I guess we should now all praise BioWare for selling us an incomplete game!

They would never use the same plant twice in a game! Totally unheard of! You must be right!

All of Mass Effect 3 was a dream. Happy now?

Where else have you seen these plant? And why are the called dreamplants in the code?

If this is real, which I am not saying it isn't, then this gives me a bit a hope that there will be some clarity to a 'dream sequence' that Shepard has.
IT doesn't have to be the answer to this ending, but it damn well better be close in the sense that Shepard is indoctrinated to some level.
I want to fight Harby and find my own way to save the day from the dark matter expansion that apparently does not exist anymore!

The planet is a symbol that life will begin anew in the new galaxy after the end of the Reaper War. The devs have said this themselves. All this shows is that you don't have to take what happened on the planet literlly; it is a symbol.

Hey Mr "I'll make ANOTHER new thread that proves absolutely nothing other than I should be banned from making new threads"...

"Building on their research, Exec Producer Casey Hudson and the team are hard at work on a number of game content initiatives that will help answer the questions, providing more clarity for those seeking further closure to their journey. You’ll hear more on this in April. We’re working hard to maintain the right balance between the artistic integrity of the original story while addressing the fan feedback we’ve received. This is in addition to our existing plan to continue providing new Mass Effect content and new full games, so rest assured that your journey in the Mass Effect universe can, and will, continue."

I refuse to believe the devs have said something this stupid.
"Yeah, everything that happens in the end is symbolic and not to be taken literal in any way. Isn't that what you always wanted? Vague symbolic cliché crap? What, closure? We had no idea you wanted that, you really should have told us beforehand."

That doesn't make that clearin that statement. If it's planned they would not say any reflecting to it being planned.

1. I am not scouring thousands of Twitter posts. But the symbolism is pretty obvious. Why would they choose such a lush green planet, instead of say, a desert?

2. Because the player is supposed to take it as symbolism.

Why isn't my interepretation as valid as IT?

IT is like any other conspiracy theory. To a believer, everything and anything is evidence to support it.

Remember this the next time someone says an alien kidnapped and probed them last night then the government covered it all up and you laugh at them.

Interesting, though it proves nothing. Maybe they intended to use those plants during the actual dream sequences at one point, and didn't for whatever reason. It could also mean that they meant for Shepard to be indoctrinated at the end, then changed their minds. If it really was their intention to make Shepard be indoctrinated, I think they would have left more obvious hints. Then again, perhaps Starboy's vague dialogue was meant to show that such a conversation could only happen in a dream......
