One thing i have noticed is, that even though Troopers are good at teamwork, they lack the important damage output to be dangerous. They are armed with the Hornet, a longrange SMG, but the setting and the cutscenes tells us that they use modified rifles, like the Mattock and the Eviscrator (both are Cerberus Weapons), which are notably more dangerous at medium ranges, where Troopers are normally encountered...
What about giving most Assault Troopers a Mattock, the Centurions Hornets (because they are commanding units, not fighters) and eventually, the Combat Engineer could get the Eviscrator, so they also could dish out some damage? This could make the Cerberus Forces a bit more challenging and make them more storywise.
This is only a suggestion and is not meant to be a serious idea for the game, i just want the opinion of people.
