I purchase the Digital Deluxe UK version through Steam and have for about 24hours now been trying to get someone from either Steam, EA or BioWare to explain and fix why the extra items that come with the expensive version of this game, are still not available for download.

It also took me about, no joke, 50 attempts to get this stupid "beta" website to accept any display name.

This is absolutely rediculous. I'm just about ready to get a refund, yes the game "looks pretty" but something this badly designed/setup does not deserve being paid for.

I'm sorry, but I'm very pissed off about this, I'm stuck at home recovering from food poisoning and I thought this would pass the time. But no, the frustration of crap websites and not getting what I paid for has only made me feel worse. Thank you BioWare & EA for nothing...

It's resolved now. Steam's system didn't work, I had no options to input any codes. None of the places on this site impact in game content (there's a notice on the "My Games / Register Game" link that says as much). I ended up calling the EA UK support line and a very helpful guy took my two CD keys (the only codes provided by Steam) and confirmed they entitled me to that content and he added the items to my account manually. 2 minutes later, I'm logged in and all my digital content is downloading and available.



My advice to anyone considering buying a game with extra online content in the future is do NOT get it through Steam. Get it from the real publisher like EA or whoever and avoid a whole load of hassle as Steam have yet to even acknowledge my original support request let alone attempt to resolve it. Pathetic really...



Anyway, thanks for the reply Mesecina I can atleast now recover from my particularly nasty food poisoning in a nice fantasy virtual world
