As for Control in terms of biotic abilities... Biotics can mind-control actually. Remember Morinth from ME2?

That isn't a Biotic ability, it's a perversion of part of their their natural mating method, the ability to synchronise nervous systems. Normal Asari can naturaly generate empathy and potentially attraction as an ambient ability, AYpoisitive Asari have much stronger and more firece electro-chemecal activity in their nervous system hence a stronger ability to manuipulate others and stronger biotic ability.

AY positive Asari like Morinth can refine and chanel their ability with biotics but it existed before the Asari were able to use Biotics

First of all, Asari mental abilities are actually biotic abilities (all Asari are natural biotics, they didn't have to develop biotic abilities like humans). Shepard is not an Asari, but Shepard can use Dominate in ME2... So, Dominate is actually a biotic ability that can be learned and trained by any biotic.

Wouldn't he need a candy bar the size of the Empire State?

Also, any ending that requires Shep to be a specific class (especially since Soldier is most played) is probably doomed out of the gate.

As I already said - Shepard has biotic talents no matter the class. And this is not a theory, it's the truth.

It's gameplay-story segregation - you can't base anything off of that from a plot standpoint. By that logic, Project Lazarus was a complete failure if you decided to change classes between ME1 and ME2.

Ability to change classes has nothing to do with the fact that Shepard has biotic talents. class itself is just an "equipment set". I have no idea why the game doesn't allow you to change class any time (while on the Normandy).

...I can't see how else Crucible can be explained right now. Crucuble+Citadel+MassRelays have to be an amplifier of some kind. If not, it will not make any sense... Space magic is inappropriate for ME universe.

It's more effective on the battlefield, where you have no giant amlifires to help you :)

Not sure if it's too late or not, but I want BioWare to view this theory. Maybe it will help them to make Extended Cut better :)

Well, and I can't really find any sci-fi story that can compete even with ME Trilogy. DE:HR and Appleseed maybe... just maybe :)

Please, read the OP and say what do you think about it. This should be much more constructive.

Says who? The only thing my Shepard would achieve after staring at a block of wood for a long time trying to use his "biotics" would be a headache. He's an Infiltrator, he knows some tech stuff and he's a good shot with a rifle, no biotics ANYWHERE to be seen.

But somehow Infiltrator Shepard can train Slam ability in seconds, and then crash her enemies with raw biotic power.

Like themral clips! Stupid idea when you can have a gun that just keeps firing with an inbuilt heatsink and cooler. However, it was added to make gameplay "smoother" or something.

We actually have lots of dialog exclusive if Shepard is one of the 3 biotic classes, so unless Seival can prove with for example a soldier with the barrier skill can get the same dialog, I think we can assume that a non-biotic Shepard using a biotic bonus skill is a case of gameplay/Story segragation.

And frankly. I think we can shove the dominate ability being classified as a biotic ability aswell as a case of this.

Shepard can get all sorts of bonus abilities, however those are a game mechanic not a part of the world. Or are we to believe that it's impossible for an engineer to use a sniper rifle until then find a magic weapons cach on the collector ship? Or that you couldn't detonate stasis in ME2, or that warp doesn't activate a biotic detonation suddenly in ME3.

Or that Shepard was suddenly trained to roll 2186CE

The "bonus" ability is an OOC gameplay element and shouldn't be considered in matters of lore.

And what about people who roleplay their Shepard into not having any sort of Biotic implants at all.

Well that just took a shotgun shot the OP's argument.
