Lately, I have been in this Dragon Age kick, beating the 1st and 2nd game recently. I have been looking or options to play for future games. So thus I wanted to hear how you played the Dragon Age games. Along with recommendations on how to alter my gameplay without losing/killing characters, and I am very bad at playing evil.
DA:O
Female noble Warrior (2 handed swords) and Female noble rogue (archer)
Got with Alistair (like in all playthroughs of the game), became queen with Alistair, saved the Mages and Elfs, preserved the ashes, destroyed the Anvil
Female city elf warrior (1 sword) played through the same except Alistair and I remained Wardens
DA"2
Female mage (Elemental fighting (fire/ice and lightening/earch)+healing)
Friendmanced Fenris, sided with Templars, Carver became a Templar, killed Anders
Female mage (Force mage+fire/ice)
friendmanced Anders, sided with mages, Carver became a Grey Warden, spared Anders
How did you play DA:O and DA:2?

Pretty much like you played it. Did the ritual.
Female Mage,

Loved Themlen ((or what his name was the guy from the orgin story )) So no romances for her.She threw herself into the being a Grey warden but became a very untypical Grey warden who always tried to do the best she could to aid others or go the long route trying to save them.saved the mages and city elves.cured the werewolves destroyed the anvil.Spared Loghain made Alistair and Anora marry.And in the final hour she faltered not wanting to die so asked Loghain to bed with Morrigan ,who she liked very much.Saved Amarantine spared the Arcitect.

Female Amell loved Alistair and became his mistress after he became king, convinced Zathrian to remove the curse on the werewolves, destroyed the anvil, made Bhelen king, killed Loghain, convinced Alistair to do the Dark Ritual. Later on, she saved Amaranthine with a fully-upgraded Keep and killed the Architect.
DA2

DA: O Male,Noble,Rogue,rommanced Morrigan Sided with mages, convinced Zathrian to remove the curse, destroyed the anvil, killed Loghain (even though it seemed sorta mean), completed the dark ritual with Morrigan, Killed that big scaley arch-demon lol. Later followed Morrigan through the mirror.
DA 2:Male,Rogue,Rommanced Merril Bethany joined the circle, gave Merril what she needed for her quest even though it involved blood magic which im not fond of, Sided with mages, and (its been awhile sorry) but i don't remember having to kill Anders and that almost all if not all of my party members remained loyal to me even if they didn't approve of my siding with the mages.

Okay have a numerous playthroughs of both DAO and DA2, so I will only include ones that were mostly different from your playthroughs (I have a handfull of Wardens/Hawkes, that followed the same paths that you already mentioned)
DAO:
1) Female City Elf (DW rogue) - Romanced Zevran (got the earing proposal); saved Mages, Conner, Isolde; had Zathrian break the spell; sided with Harrowmont; destroy the anvil; killed Loghain; made Alistair king (hardened); convinced Alistair to do the Dark Ritual.
2) Male Dalish Elf (DW rogue) - Romanced Zevran AND Morrigan (ended up with Zevran); saved Mages, killed Isolde; saved the Elves; sided with Bhelen; destroyed the anvil; had Alistair kill Loghain; made Alistair King (hardened); did the Dark Ritual with Morrigan.
3) Female Dwarf Commoner (DW Rogue....I like rogues..hehe) - Romanced Alistair (not hardened), dumped by Alistair and turned to Zevran; saved the mages, Conner and Isolde, had Zathrian lift the curse; sided with Bhelen, destroyed the anvil, and Alistair kill Loghain; Warden did the US.
DA2:
1) Female Hawke (aggro S/S warrior) - Bethany died in Deep Roads; Friendmanced Fenris; Rivaled Merrill, Anders and Sebastian; sent Feynriel to Tevinter; duelled the Arishok for Isabella; sided with the Templars, but spared Anders (he came back to fight me, and I lost Sebastian since I didn't stabbity Anders).
2) Female Hawke (diplo/snarky archer) - Bethany becomes a Warden; Friendmance Fenris, made Feynriel tranquil; Isabella never came back but still duelled the Arishok (thanks to Fenris); spared Anders (didn't have Sebastian); sided with the Mages.
3) Male Hawke (snarky DW rogue) - Bethany in the circle; Friendmance Isabella; sent Feynriel to Tevinter; duelled the Arishok for Isabella; spared Anders/lost Sebastian; sided with the Mages
4) Male Hawke (snarky mage) - Carver in Wardens; friendmance Fenris; sent Feynriel to Tevinter; group fight with Qunari; rivalled Anders; spared Anders/lost Sebastian; sided with the Mages.
5) Male Hawke (Aggro/snarky 2h warrior) - Bethany in the circle; rivalmanced Fenris; rivalled Sebastian and friended Anders; duelled the arishok for Isabella; stabbed Anders; sided with Mages.

Origins had a Female Amell Warden. (Mage). Her personality was reserved, serious and all business. But open, caring and humourous with the people she cared about.
She saved the Circle. Convinced the Dalish Keeper to remove his curse. Destroyed the Anvil of the Void. Gave Harrowmont the crown. Saved everyone at Redcliff(and i do mean EVERYONE). Allowed Zevran to live. Saved Sten.
When it comes to romance, Amell had intended to go into the Blight with a hardened heart. She fell in love with Alistair and, despite her best efforts to avoid it, ended up in a romantic relationship with him.
At the Landsmeet, Amell killed Loghain in single combat and Alistair assumed the throne. The conversation between Alistair and Amell that followed was less than pleasant and it ended the romance.
After refusing Morrigan's offer of the Dark Ritual, Amell went into the fight against the Arch Demon accepting her death. However, Alistair refused to let her take the final blow and sacrificed himself to save her, and end the Blight.
Amell then went into a deep state of depression and disappeared shortly after destroying the Architect and saving Amaranthine.
Dragon Age II is a little more complex character wise, i ended up fond of this Hawke and my imagination took over.
Female Templar Hawke has had personality ranging from Charming, Humourous and Diplomatic to Aggressive, Rude and Sarcastic. Her personality swayed largely through-out the game. As did her view points on Mage/Templar conflicts.
She had Rivalry relationships with Anders, Merrill and Sebastian.
Friendships with Isabela, Varric, Aveline, Bethany and Fenris.
She didn't romance anyone, though i have entire mental run-downs of every character relationship between this particular Hawke and the Companions/Characters of Dragon Age II. I won't bother boring anyone with details.
Bethany went to the Circle.
Hawke fought the Arishok in single combat.
Saved Feynriel. He then went on to inspire a story that i ended up writing down.
Got Aveline hitched to Donnic.
Etcetc...
Ended up shanking Anders, her only regret was she didn't do it sooner. She sided with the Mages in order to save Bethany.

Some of you will think I'm insane, but I've played every origin in DA:O at least once and made every available major decision except for conscripting Loghain or killing a companion.
I've also done 6 playthroughs of DAII but never as a warrior and never rivaled anyone except Merrill. I should probably get on that.

I played through Origins 27 times and tried all variables.
My fav however were:
Female Human Mage.
Romanced Leliana.
Saved the Circle
Crowned Bhelen
Anvil was destroyed
Saved the Elves and the Wolves.

crowned Alistair and Anra jointly.
Reqruited and friended everyone including those from Awakening.
Saved the keep
Let Morrigan go.

My very first game of Origins was as a Mage who fell in love with Alistair, and when i got to the end of the game and he threw himself at that dragon to save her... Best thing Bioware have written since Jade Empire. Just that one, single, ending.

My very first game of Origins was as a Mage who fell in love with Alistair, and when i got to the end of the game and he threw himself at that dragon to save her... Best thing Bioware have written since Jade Empire. Just that one, single, ending.
I'm with you there. First and only time a game has ever made me cry. And I mean sob. It just hurt so good.
