I played 7 campaign missions in SC2 the week it came out and haven't touched it since. I never even bothered with the multiplayer. My reaction "meh, I burned out on this 10 years ago". I had a similar reaction to the D3 beta.
Don't get me wrong, I'm still going to pick it up. But as is I can see myself doing 1, maybe 2 playthroughs and calling it quits.

Probably not. The beta showed an adictive game with obsesive attention to detail.Malkeor wrote...
Diablo III is overrated, and people who played the beta will probably agree

Then what, o mystical prophet?
The Diablo 3 players will leave to rave for a week, and then complain and moan about the all the "game-breaking bugs", "whaaaah, I maxed out my character and ain't getting good loot", not to mention server issues running that game.
We basically already get that here
I'd almost rather listen to TF2 players complain about hats.

I hear in this game that comes out, there are multiple endings and you control your destiny from the original decisions of your characters in the first 2 games of the trilogy!
Yes, "Goodbye Kitty Online" launches tonight!
It's Goodbye Kitty Island Adventure Online, get it right!

The game is going to die if I don't unlock a new class soon.
I've been spamming those superior spectre packs in the hope of getting new classes.
I'm the only person on Bioware who has this problem by the looks of things.
If by july I still only have 7 classes unlocked, I won't bother...
Manifest.

Man, no AA, no Carnifex or Paladin. I feel for you.
It appears you went for the "spam recruit packs til you have all the commons, then spam veteran packs, etc" strategy to remove the RNG effect somewhat. IMO, unless you are really farming the crap out of the game, that strategy doesn't work so great.
I play in bunches but really I don't play all that much overall. Have always only bought spectre packs and now superior spectre packs, with the odd equipment/jumbo equipment here and there, and this is my manifest:

Not to say it is amazing by any stretch, but it seems like the bulk of your coins have gone to common items.

Seriously hate to break it to you, but D3 is not going to be up to snuff. So much was cut from the game to sell as DLC. I'll be waiting for Torchlight II.
Mass Effect 3 did the same

Man, tf2 has been such a great game before they introduced this stupid hat-trading.

Does Diablo III have Geth?
Does Diablo III have cool head exploding gifs when you headshot someone?
No to all three?
Well do that at least have giant spaceship machines that aim to stop other synthetics from destroying organic life by destroying it themselves whilst also controlling themselves not to blatantly demolish young species like in the Prothean cycle when they spared the Asari and the Homoerectus?
No?
Well **** Diablo III then...

My thoughts too. I suspect the quality of gold pugs will increase.
D3 has shaped up to be a disappointment. I used to be excited for D3 until I got my beta invite, and the game didn't improve during the open beta either. The new changes to the combat system and skills are regressive, among other things.
I'll be buying Torchlight 2 in place of D3 as it does the genre better than the Diablo series, or one could say it does 'Diablo better than Diablo'. Of course all bets are off if Runic manages to bumble Torchlight 2.

I'm leaving for sure. Probably will be back for some, to check and see that Bioware didn't get ANYTHING with Extended Cut, and even if these rumors of Blizzard cutting stuff of D3 to sell later as DLC (which doesn't make any sense if you see the distribution structure of D3 and the RMAH as revenue source) are true I'm probably putting money on that, unlike ME3.

You do realise that EA did the same thing with the Day One DLC?

In ME 3 MP, I've created a Human Sentinel with no Tech Armor and one with six points in it. They played quite differently. That choice might not be 'useful' to some but the reason I play RPGs is that they give me those type of options.
Screwing up your beloved character isn't fun. And that's the reality of it when you have tons of new players jumping into a game knowing very little about. If you went something like full on energy and str for an amazon, you have no chance at higher difficulties.

It's fun to read those "D3 will suck because it'll have..." because every negative point they raise is one that is ALREADY present in ME3.Variasaber wrote...

I don't think so. In D2 we had completely different classes, which were complicated to manage from start. In D3 all the classes play more or less the same at start and start to differentiate later. And they are very simple to manage.
I'm surely will be occupied with more than one character. Specially because they made stash and artificer shared along characters.
If you want to be proud of talking good about ME3 and close your eyes to anything that point you're wrong, do such. Just don't expect the rest of the world to be as blind as you decided to be.

Did you just divide by zero? YOU CAN'T DIVIDE BY ZERO!! Don't you know what happens when you criticize a useless post with another useless post?
You get a double fudged useless post! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH the uselessness is going to kill ME3-MP !!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
