Anyone else disturbed by Leliana's epilogue?

if it didn't leave you confused, where's the sequel possibility?
if the hero was gone, HOW could there be a sequel? I don't know many that you come back as another person.
**LORE WARNING** lol
If you asked me, for what it's worth, my feeling is it's that we don't know exactly what happens to a Grey Warden when it merges with the archdemon. Yes, he is said to sacrifice himself, but, when was the last time that happened? 400 years ago (i may have forgotten a 0)?
Maaaybe...something draws the Warden to the Deep Roads...or somewhere else. Maybe the Circle of Magi in one nation has certain powers. Maybe her vision involves a blood mage (tie in to morrigan and her fascination with blood mages?)....
Ahh, possibilities, possibilites. They're endless.

Morrigan also gives the character a ring which she said Flemeth gave her, so that Flemeth could find her anywhere. She has altered the ring so that she can find you anywhere, if you are captured or fall into trouble. In one of the dialogue options you have in response to her gift, you can ask her if it can also be used by you to find her. She states that she does not know, but that in theory it should link you both in some way. Later in the Epilogue after Morrigan leaves, it says that the Warden wakes up one night swearing that he sensed Morrigan thinking about him through the ring, and that she was full of sadness and regret.
Note that I "loved" Leliana, but had...several...side flings with Morrigan (I was a bad...bad boy), and my epilogue also said I swore Morrigan was thinking about me, however, I recieved no ring. That was right after the one about her being seen in Redcliffe going into the Frostbacks.
P.S. Any devs in here, check out the Search for Morrigan addon I'm working on...search under projects.

hey to whoever was posting the pic- Don't do that. Let the poor departed guy have some dignity. Yes you have rights, but this is somebody's father/brother/son/husband and the dog's master.
Yeah..that too.
Altough I was mostly refering to the fact that I don't liek seeing pictures like that. Dogs hit a strong emotional chord within me. It's like their yelp of pain his the exact sadness frequency in my brain.
Bobms falling, people crying, death and misery and tragedy of all kind - scenes like that have a negligible emotional response compared to dogs suffering. Dogs are my kryptonite.

It was pretty awkward seeing her after she offed herself, especially since she was just my rebound after Morrigan left me.
Now everyone in history thinks Leilana and I were lovers and now she goes and kills herself for me, while Morrigan is off somewhere with my baby.

Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance I and II spring to mind.

It suggests that no matter what, your PC won't be in the next game. Whether they lived or died, so the next game probably takes place like 20 to 30 years later.

I'll pitch a quick second question: is Leliana supposed to be silent background decoration during Alistair's eulogy for the PC? I read that someone had Alistair refer to "someone loving" the Warden and the camera panning to Leliana's face but that didn't happen for me although (as her epilogue text and her words at the city gates prove) I was at 100% "Love" with her. Alistair, however, said he "thought we would be together forever". I found that a touching reference to my character's platonic friendship with him -- but in combination with the missing Leliana-thing I am now wondering if in fact the eulogy was buggy for me and thought my warrior was with Alistair instead of Leliana though the epilogue-texts were correct.
Anyone got a female PC who sacrificed herself and noticed the same? Or did Alistair properly hint at the PC being with Leliana? Does he say the "I thought we'd be together forever" to male characters too?

Yes, my female PC got the "some of you even loved her" line, although it was with Anora giving the eulogy; the camera did properly pan to Leliana, a rather touching moment.

So no one else realized that when you go to the Urn's resting place Leliana says, "no thats not why I made it up" when talking to the Guardian. I had even told Alister I thought she believed she saw the vision then WHAM, but theres no dialogue about it. You'd think if she's gonna admit the whole thing was a farce 2 feet in front of you she'd realize you can hear her perfectly clear and at least wanna talk about it.
That isn't what she says.
Guardian: And you... why do you say the Maker speaks to you, when all know that the Maker has left? He spoke only to Andraste. Do you believe yourself Her equal?
(some additional comments from him that she enjoyed the attention, even if it was negative)
Leliana: "You're saying I made it up, for... for the attention? I did not! I know what I believe!"
The Guardian is accusing her of making it up, and she's acknowledging that, she isn't agreeing with him.
