I know lot of people are down on luck about not getting N7 weapons. Just unlocked Javelin IV and still no BW. I still have not found any use for the Javelin. Blessing or Curse?

Black Widow III here, and still no Javelin. I would gladly trade one of my Black Widows for a level I Javelin.

The Javelin is awesome on a GI, attleast on bronze and silver. Maybe even gold. However I don't like the low ammo capacity.

BTW I have the BW V and wouldn't change it for a javelin... oh wait but I also got the Javelin IV, but still no valiant:(

Then, after realizing how bad it is on higher levels, point it your own head for such a horrible decision.

The BW will outpace the Javelin all day long in the hands of a competent sniper. Don't let the single player version of the gun lull you into believing it works well on MP.

I just got a Javelin I last night and promptly made a solo Bronze run with my Salarian Infiltrator to test it. Damage per shot is very high, and it can shoot through walls -- and weaker enemies, it seems. I took down 3 troopers with one bullet and was pretty impressed.

Bad news is, reload time is somewhat slow, and ammo capacity is a joke. On higher difficulties it can be a problem.

The Javelin is great on gold don't let scrubs tell you otherwise. The Javelin X has 15 rounds per clip, not bad. My Javelin X out scores my BW IV hands down, and I'm good with the BW.

I have a BW and a Javelin II. Admittedly, I find my BW more practical but the Javelin is such a powerful gun - it has some good applications (like FB Dagger and being able to shoot through the floor). I say give it the old college try and take it to several matches in a row with a Geth Infiltrator.

Sure, I'll take that bet. I get over 150,000 every game with it. I'm on the xbox, gamer tag "Immortal Strife", friend me and we'll play.  You can pick the map and enemy. I havn't not placed first in weeks and I use all classes so I welcome the challenge.

Very tempted to field Javelin for all my snipers from now on. If only it wasn't so damn difficult to upgrade it to X...

I also have a Javelin IV and never touch it. Seems like a decent enough gun, but I'm just not into sniper rifles. Too bad we can't trade, as I'm sure there are some high-level Talons collecting dust out there that I could be putting to good use.
