I've been saying it for months. There will be more to it.

In fairness the content argument can be rebutted by what casey said about the sheer variability of the endings? Lots of different small pieces of conetent, not necessarily a big amount for every shep in every playthrough. Hope not though

On the 8th of March 2012, 2 days after the release of Mass Effect 3; people began to finish the game. The ending became a hot topic of debate. It was like marmite, some hated and some loved it. Friction and tension started to rise in the Mass Effect community. Less than 1 day later, theories of Commander Shepard's indoctrination arose. The Indoctrination Theory was born, and so was the BSN Civil War.

The war tore the community into 3 parts. Those who believed the Theory, those who didn't and those who were neutral. What was once a peaceful place where people conversed and had fun had quickly become a warzone. People arguing everywhere, insults being thrown around. Countless hours spent studying the game for clues to support the Theory. Documentaries made, newspaper articles written. The ending and the Indoctrination Theory had all but disintegrated the Mass Effect community.

3 months later, the war still wages. But in 4 days, it will all end.
In 4 days, the Mass Effect 3: Extended Cut is released.
In 4 days, the truth will out.
In 4 days, this endless and bitter war will hopefully come to an end.

This war may end, but it will only usher in a new war where literalists will be battling indoctrinationists.

However, it still remains to be seen who will be on the losing side.

 I believe we will get gameplay with a DLC of that size. Otherwise they put trollfaces every where from Cronos Station to the Citadel... <_

Or maybe they will leave it vague and let us interpret it...(I SO HOPE NOT) Either way, well said. So if the EC comes out in 4 days, where does that leave Clevernoob in IT: A doc part 2?? I hope he is done before the release....

Anyways, it's been fun. There have been ups and downs, but still, we held the line.
There have been petty insults, and attacks, but we held the line.
I've seen some in fighting, but we're still brothers and sisters in arms, holding the line.
When the 26th gets here, when we here the first reports of either disaster or hope, we will hold the line!

There are people who still believe Bioware told the fans Indoctrination Theory was wrong at PAX. What do you think they're going to do, be honest and drop out of denial now?
