Also they never denied that there was no playable content.

Well jessica just posted there will be no new combat so either she is lying or she really doesn't want us to be excited for EC... <_< ... Come on it's a game!!! If I have to wait for an hour for the EC to download and have no new combat at all, well....I'll be disappointed.

I do not know if I can be any clearer...at this point, we know nothing. We know that the producer of the content has released information meant to tease the fan base...that's it. Everything else is pure speculation.

Just look at this thread alone...30 some pages since this morning...If they wanted to get people talking again, they sure did it.

im saying maybe the whole thing is over, the teleport didnt actually happen, and now he wants them to conduct search and rescue. but i dont know and i wont know until EC comes out

He would have made sure the place was clear.
and your squadmates looked fine when they were getting out of the ship.
And do you think they would think"Shepard didn't make it to the beam,so we wont even try"

Trying to keep my hopes up, but failing miserably. Then again, maybe that’s the way to go into this, expecting the worst and then getting pleasantly surprised by what we get.

This is from the official website...there are five pictures in the middle of the page, which are casuing a lot of speculation.  I personally don't think that there is enough there to make any inferences about what they are depicting (except maybe the one with Joker - the caption does appear to show Hackett giving him an order).

Besides...I can't imagine them posting anything that would "spoil" the EC so close to the release date.  Including telling (whatever the source - twitter, facebook, interview - whatever the source) if one of the possible outcomes is IT or not.

The caption is "Mac Walters reviews the scene where Joker disengages the fight on Earth." This almost completely kills my IT hopes. 

What if this was the plan from the start? Fleets attacks reapers, decoy to deploy crucible, the cricible is so powerful that it's KNOWN that it will damage the fleets, when the crucible is armed fleets leave, hoping that the crucible will do what is buld for, destroy reapers. Shepard does know maybe, so he immagines the crash landing... yeah, I know, straws, a lot of them...

So, either Merizan is lying or the EC wont provide a definitive answer on the IT. If the latter, I just got screwed by Bioware. If the former, thank God for that.

Oh and for those you haven't noticed, Merizan tweeted there will be no additional combat in EC. So.... just think that should be known.

I think if there is no combat, and then if IT is true it could possibly make me feel better. If both are false, then they are gonna have to have something mind blowing to get me excited again for Mass Effect.

Interesting. From a scripting perspective, it wouldn't make any sense to have the gun switch models. The gun should have stayed the same. Why would a coder put that in there.

I think what Merizan is saying is that EC might be a little vague about IT, but you're supposed to infer that it's true.

Huh. I haven't seen that before. I too would like to know about this.

Well I mean, in cutscenes sometimes they show Shepard with a weapon that he didn't use. For example my Shepard only used an assault rifle, but on Thessia he used a pistol.

I don't know, but this doesn't really seem significant enough to be a legitimate topic backing IT.

Yeah, I find my Shepard constantly using the Avenger in cutscene (in all 3 games, despite not even being able to use one until 3...then never actually using it) and taking a pistol off her back where an assault rifle would be, but this seems different enough to question. The others are just how the cutscenes work but...they force you into using the Carnifex, so why switch it right at the last second to a Predator? Unless it's in Shepard's head and s/he's confused, it makes no sense that they would make an effort to do this.

No,i'm talking about the squadmates.think about it.
if they were alive they still would have ran to the beam since they were with you at that point.
And if there was search and rescue your squadmates would be badly injured and yet they get out of the normandy without even a scratch.

Well, I've been pretty upset after listening to that podcast and seeing the images of Hackett ordering joker away. It's a knife in the side of the IT. However, I was a little quick to jump the gun and maybe we will still get the IT but just in post game DLC. I just feel very sad right now... words can't describe how f**** s****** I feel right now.

True, but I mean that video was made by freezing the game and moving around the camera. Nobody would really notice the difference unless they did that, and it could just be an easter egg or something.

This war may end, but it will only usher in a new war where literalists will be battling indoctrinationists.

However, it still remains to be seen who will be on the losing side.

It will go one until THE DARK KNIGHT RiSES COMES OUT, plus ME4 if the start making it.
