Oh man this theory is on life support.

This is like the fall of Thessia. And Bioware is Kai Leng.

Then we're Commander SHepard and we will STOP AT NOTHING.:D

Run to the Normandy, run before Kai Leng steals more of your cereal.

Okay guys, I'll be taking a step back til tuesday.
Try not to kill each other whilst I'm gone.

Oh, except I might finish the playthrough I recovered tomorrow, and if I do, I'll record the entirety of the end sequence with the music muted in FRAPS for speculation purposes ;

Also, seriously everyone, calm down.
You're fighting over what Merizan has said on twitter - I thought we got over that 3 months ago?

Good grief this thread. I realize this will be buried in no time flat, but..........

Continuing my second playthrough and just finished Rannoch. Noticed two things:

1. The level where you have to expose the Reaper to orbital bombardment is partially a factory. And what is that factory producing? VR pods just like the one Legion used to send Shepard into the Geth concensus. Why would the Reapers want to build those en masse? Maybe another play on the Matrix? Some way to send Reaper code into organic brains? Eh, doesn't matter; we blew them all up.

2. When I first confronted that Reaper on Rannoch, I made the mistake of asking it for answers. The reply was nonsense, felt wrong, and Shepard came across as too sympathetic to the Reapers. This time, Renegade responses all the way. FAR more satisfying.

There is still that one tiny little troubling part with Legion fading out at the end of the Geth Consensus mission before you escape the consensus, but given the state of things if I start speculating I may find myself dogpiled.

Nice catch.  I haven't seen anyone else mention the VR pods.  As for the mission itself, we discussed it a bit but the biggest problem is that the geth consensus mission is optional.  So it can only have hints, nothing pivotal.

I completely agree on how much more satisfying it is to not ask that Reaper for answers.  I don't know how renegade goes but I loved the paragon way.  "I kill Sovereign, and now you."  "We are many."  "We are more!"  Best of all though was when he cut off the Reaper mid-sentence when it was doing a "we're your only hope for preservation" speech and said "You!  Whatever species you're made from.  They're dead.  They've been dead for thousands of years."  Then the Reaper shuts down as it does and he adds, "And now they can rest in peace."  That was one of the best lines of the game.

So when the police investigated the stolen breakfast, they said "I think we have a cereal killer".

Oh, those were VR pods? I remember seeing those but totally didn't make the connection. Interesting!

I'd love for her to explain Mike Gamble's statement that "“You'll get answers to everything. That was one of the key things."  Leaving a **** ambiguous ending is not answers to everything, it's answers to NOTHING AT ALL.

Cool...I think more of us need to be asking questions to Jessica and calling her on some of her comments. It'll be better than us just sitting here and taking all this ant-IT abuse from everyone and jumping ship. HOLD THE LINE!!! Unfortunately I don't have twitter....

Her answer to your tweet amused me though. The mental image of archaeologists (who I picture as Liara and Indiana Jones working together) digging up the IT thread was pretty amusing.

I had to stare at them for a moment before making the connection.  It helps that I had just completed the Geth consensus mission.  I could be wrong, but they are very, very similarly shaped.

Even though I think IT isn't going to in the EC, at this point, I feel it's my headcanon.

Heh, it made me think of Liara's data capsule.

It was better than her generic ":)" I guess, haha.

But there are so many things wrong with her response I don't even..........the game obviously can't stand on it's own if you can't decide what you want to do with the ending...but uuugh I can't even think straight..lmao.

Edit: It made me think of Liara's capsule as well :D

Okay, that part of the second dream where the shadowy figures surround the child right before you trigger the scene of him burning is creepy as hell. I thought it was going to be a slow, near unnoticeable gravitation, but NOPE.

Thanks to whoever pointed that out on whatever page that was however far back.

Oh, those two would be perfect for each other.  Although, I get the feeling that they would be too late.  Nathan Drake would have already come and gone and, through a series of events (And explosions.) that were no fault of his own, the thread would have been destroyed already.

Yeah, I'm following it mostly for entertainment purposes. Not really putting much stock into what she says. Not her fault, I'm sure she's extremely limited in what she can say really. Lol every other tweet inspires hope or dread for IT. I'm just going to have to let the EC speak for itself. It's no use trying to dissect every tweet or hang on every last word. If there's something big or amazing to spoil about the EC, they won't be doing it over twitter... They're just stalling, trying to hold everyone over until Tuesday. It's no wonder they announced the release date less than a week before its release and just before the weekend ^_^
