I know, I know, take what Jessica says lightly but I am trying to get some of our questions answered on Twitter. Maybe balance out what she's said so far. Any suggestions for questions to ask?

Stuff that doesn't seem like it could prove IT or not so she'll awnser truely or mess up

Why do the eyes change?
Explain the similarities of London. (apartment-WNT for reference/Riot86 link)
Gameplay gun bob.
Citadel: The Return- why is it named that?
Is the beam an indoctrination device?

Anything else???

I asked her if there was something that wasn't in the NDA that she can definitively tell us. I don't expect a straight answer.

Hell, ask her if the kid's real or not at the beginning of the game. That might be interesting in any instance.

Shep's gun switching to a Predator at the last second in the Destroy ending, just as the shockwave hits it.

I'd like to know how Mike Gamble's statement, "You'll get answers to everything. That was one of the key things." statement and her statement that EC won't prove or disprove IT can both be true.

I mentioned that in my above post. Basically, I think, especially since there's additional stuff before the beam, that they're going to add a lot more IT hints and stuff, so people get it this time. That also fits in with them being so surprised by the initial reaction to the ending.

His "You can't help me." certainly did seem forced didn't it?  I just think it was heavy handed symbolism though.

So, it's been a while I stopped following the goings on when this thread shifted to mark two.

Does someone care to give me a summary of how IT's faring so far? 'Cause Bioware announced on the blog the EC's release date and the screenshots they showed, and the comments made, are frankly rather... disheartening to me for IT's prospects as canon.

We have evidence of infrasound playing in the dreams and also being broadcasted by Coats in London. Infrasound is used by the Reapers to indoctrinate and indoctrinated agents can amplify the indoctrination signal to indoctrinate others. It's a sound we would never be able to hear because not only is it below human hearing but it shouldn't play on conventional speakers. Therefore, it is extra work for Bioware sound techs to do and meant to be there.

True, he's being unpleasantly patronising as opposed ot openly abusive. I had a quick look at his twitter feed and he comes across as arrogant. Jessica isn't the only one he's being rude and uncivil to. I've had to deal with people like that in work situations myself and I can only sympathise with Jessica and the other BW community types. They're in a difficult situation being unable to disclose anything about the EC yet. I don't understand this hate for the sake of hate, whether it's anti-BW, anti-IT, anti-literalist or whatever else.

Grunt: Your job is awful.

Because IT is a completely made up rationalization that has no particular in game support.  There's no way to rebut a theory that requires no evidence in its support.  A similar question: What if we're all just brains in a jar?

No. Not good enough. They need to confirm or kill IT. None of this ambiguous crap. I think that's about the only thing that the great majority of IT'er sand literalists agree on. Besides which, leaving IT up in the air still means the Reapers aren't beaten. Completely unacceptable.

Nothing they've said about the EC apart from the few details (release date, size, where it starts etc) is much different to what they said in the original announcement. So IT is still a possibility. Jessica Merizan has made a few slightly cryptic tweets but carefully avoided giving much away. Those screenshots are exactly what BW wants us to see. Could be a straightforward hint of what is in there or it could be a bit of misdirection. Either way we won't know until Tuesday, it's going to be a loooong 4 days :).

Maybe someone has already mentioned this - is the predator/carnifex change in the destroy ending shooting-the-tube bit intentional or a glitch?

It seemed like such an easy question but she somehow wiggled out of it and threw back a non-answer. She's a professional, I'll give her that.

I dunno, I get the same sort of vibe from the kid at the beginning as I do the twin girls in The Shining.

I still maintain that just about any writer could and would write a sniveling kid who wants to latch onto Shepard for dear life, which would be the default reaction. Same resolution, same death could happen, same symbolic result.  But no, this kid felt ... off in his language, almost eerie and prophetic. This doesn't have to mean IT, by the way, just that BioWare wants us to look deeper into what we're seeing.

I'm with Rifneno. This ambiguous sh!t is what pissed us all off in the first place. You can be unambiguous and still artsy, Bioware. <_<

See now that is just poor story telling.  If the writers don't have enough of an intention to offer a clear communication, why am I going to waste my time on their work of art?  I can look into a mirror any time I care to; my point in buying a game is escapism and  to see if they have something interesting to say.  If they don't, I don't need to blow $60 to find out how they have decorated the mirror they want to hold up to my face.
