^^^ also I'd like for someone to show me the exact quote on "no new combat/gameplay" that's attached to a credible source, in other words directly from BioWare via one of it's official blog posts or tweets from a staff member.

No sir, just being proud of ITers that don't lose hope and motivate others. That's what we need right now. And if Arian were here, he'd do the same damn thing. B)

We need to stay on track and keep in mind that those 3000+ IT-thread pages didn't just consist of gamerpoop jokes.

Well, I saved this pic to my computer and opened it in a photo editing program. I moused over the area of the geth light with the color picker tool, and it's all blue, like a very light cyan. Remember, surrounding colors can affect the way we perceive colors.

Some of the RGB values for different pixels in the light with the most color to them:
215 245 246
204 234 234
226 242 255
205 234 230
Plug these in to a RGB color picker and tell me what you think. Here is one www.colorspire.com/rgb-color-wheel/

Haha, I did think as much. Oddly enough I was actually watching an episode of Colbert today.

I just haven't seen anything conclusive enough to make me waver from my beliefs, this is it, this is the crucible for us and we either stick to our guns and keep fighting or we waver from our resolve. I would much rather be disappointed that the EC never gave closure to the ITD than in my inability to support all the hard work so many amazing people have contributed to this thread.

Well said! We haven't all carried the IT along for all these months just to abandon it in the final days over ambiguous statements, have we? Even if we're all dead wrong (I don't think so) then at least we can say we stuck it out to the end and stood by all of our hard work, dedication, analysis, and evidence.

Just looking through those pictures again, and noticed something. Garrus was on the Normandy in the 'disengage' pic. How is that possible if he's on the ground fighting?

Most people took Garrus on the final run, so he's THERE with Shepard at the end. He just leaves? No. And if you didn't take him on the final run, he's STILL there in London on the ground. Fighting. And he just... leaves Shepard? No.

The logic still doesn't make sense. Dammit... the EC better be good. I just feel like the IT would easily clarify what happened. If the IT isn't true, then good luck to Bioware trying to explain the s*** we all saw.

Seriously ITers, Where is this defeatist attitude on display coming from? Am I too dense to realise the battle it over or is it that I've refused to listen to the speculation of the masses who know just as much as we do: Which is nothing by the way. Because last time I checked the only two things the BioWare blog, tweets and podcast have 100% confirmed is that the EC is coming out on the 26th and that it's a hefty 1.9GB in size... where does that say the IT couldn't be true? Where in Walters or Hudson PR double talk, padding and pandering do they actually say anything of substance?. As far I'm concerned it's still GAME ON!

"Whose like us? Damn few and they're all dead!"

It's okay SA - We get to be right ;)

Only a few more days

Also, how's this for speculation:

-Along the same lines as the current "garden world" in the ending sequence, for control/synthesis fans there'll be a "don't worry, you did good!" sequence with horribly surreal creepy undertones, perhaps followed by a hint that you should probably have another go ;)

Oh lol, well I wasn't implying there would be anything more than the EC. I was talking about EC ^_^ and that if it was ambiguous at all, they'd be explaining it at comic con. Gamble actually mentioned discussing their logic tree for the EC at comic con in his twitter I believe.

Edit: twitter link twitter.com/GambleMike/status/216220298427633664

If you look at the picture, it does seem like there are three different branches, with two being close together - could those two be control and synthesis, while the lower separate one is destroy?

-A screenshot of the normandy crew standing in front of the memorial wall, but can you actually tell me who each of those character are? ... There’s nine character standing there and I’ve counted (From L-R) Liara, Ashley, James, Garrus, Joker, Javik, Tali and Edi, but who is the man in the middle: It most closely resembles Kaiden (doubtful considering Ashley is there), but could it be Cortez or Adams or even a place holder for Shepard himself? I’m not saying who it is as I can’t definitively work it out.

That screenshot shows the placeholders for each of the characters in that scene. I'm 99% positive that the character model in the shot is Kaidan in the position that he would take up (hence both him and Ashley are shown). The only thing I thought was odd is that there is no placeholder for Cortez and Trayner, both of whom I would expect to see there.

I don't think the light looks green, tbh. Its mixed with the sunlight. Could be blue for all we know, I just see mostly white light. Too faint to see clearly.

Personally what I found most interesting is how we're supposed to believe in IT or not. Bioware is totally fine with that. Even though the implications of IT really do change quite a bit of the story. At-least it would I would assume. At the same time however, they keep toying and playing with people who ask constantly. This is a lot like Bethseda, when people constantly asked about Werewolves in Skyrim, this is the kind of loop-arounds they did. As it was supposed to be a surprise that they were added into it.

In other words, Bioware is very interesting with their vague answers. Game Developers typically either Deny or Confirm something, not a half-hearted "Maybe" or "Your choice". Not to say IT is there or not. But it seems interesting enough they would act like this.

Hell, Jessica Merizan on her Twitter even stated she has one playthrough for IT and one for a "Literal Meaning".

Nothing is really adding up.

QFT Exactly my feelings on the matter. We didn't charge towards the finish line against all adversity only to give up a few meters from the finish line. IT being right or wrong doesn't even matter, it's our dedication, our relationships, our resolve, WE are the ITD.

In the original game, this is what made some players go crazy, made some move on, and some look for a deeper meaning. As you pointed out, the same seems to be about to happen with the EC.

It's the same story all over again. Only this time, I know of IT.
