Just to be clear, I'm not giving up hope entirely, I still think it fits better into the story than the face-value endings. But per their podcast, it seems less likely to happen than I orginally thought... OR maybe it's just because it has been announced on such short notice, 4 days.. It's like.. I just haven't seen anything conclusive enough to make me waver from my beliefs, this is it, this is the crucible for us and we either stick to our guns and keep fighting or we waver from our resolve. I would much rather be disappointed that the EC never gave closure to the ITD than in my inability to support all the hard work so many amazing people have contributed to this thread.

Well said! We haven't all carried the IT along for all these months just to abandon it in the final days over ambiguous statements, have we? Even if we're all dead wrong (I don't think so) then at least we can say we stuck it out to the end and stood by all of our hard work, dedication, analysis, and evidence.

QFT Exactly my feelings on the matter. We didn't charge towards the finish line against all adversity only to give up a few meters from the finish line. IT being right or wrong doesn't even matter, it's our dedication, our relationships, our resolve, WE are the ITD.

What was up with Shepard's dreams? Why were there numerous indoctrination symptoms taking place if it didn't mean anything?

Why did we hear a Reaper 'growl' when Anderson interrupted Shepard with the child in the beginning? The same 'growl' that is described in one of the novels as what is heard when the Reaper's fail to maintain control over one of their subject's minds.

How the flying f*** did Shepard survive the Citadel explosion in Destroy? Did he just magically float down to Earth unharmed? Don't tell me that that rubble was the Citadel. It was concrete. Why the hell make it look like London if it never was. (can't wait to see this 'explained' in the EC if the IT isn't true)

And what the hell was the purpose of the breath scene to begin with?

That's just a few. If Bioware does not confirm the IT with the EC, then they'll be getting a sh**load of questions from me about their 'artistic integrity'.

I am insulted if they expect me to accept the current endings. They go entirely against the trilogy.

So yeah, if the IT isn't true, or at least strongly suggested to be in the EC, then Bioware and I will have to have a little talk.

I won't be able to. But I seriously hope SOMEONE has the balls to stand up to them if the EC is s***. Dammit, I've had it with this. Honestly, if the IT isn't true then EVERYTHING we saw in the game was just coincidences? Accidental? Come f******* on. 

If the EC doesn't confirm the IT, then I hope some people at SDCC stand up to Bioware. We don't need to take the s*** that is the current endings. Seriously, its such crap.

I doesn't read the whole 1000 posts, but I know bout IT. So, my theory about is true or not is this:

After you beat the game, wathc the credtis then the Stargazer scene, after that you got a message to buy the coming DLCs to extend Shepard's story. Then the autosave put you back before attacking the Cerberus Base.

And this info is official from the FAQ:

What save game should I load to play the Extended Cut?

[SPOILERS] To experience the Extended Cut, load a save game from before the attack on the Cerberus Base and play through to the end of the game. The Extended Cut endings will differ depending on choices made throughout the Mass Effect series, so multiple playthroughs with a variety of different decisions will be required to experience the variety of possibilities offered by the new content.

Yeah, the IT got never confirmed nor denied. But that's enough for me to believe in the IT.
