Look, people coming in here to tell us we're wrong. WE GET IT.

YOU DON'T LIKE I.T.

We do, so we discuss it in here so that you don't have to hear about it out there. I know mods are cracking down on you for starting IT threads out of this one, but that doesn't mean you get to come in here and start sh!t with antiquated arguments and baseless assumptions.

Before you argue against I.T., know the facts. I can tell at a glance the first time most of you post that you have no idea what you're talking about and you have not done your research. So please, go study, then argue with us if you still have a problem with a story interpretation about a fictional universe that doesn't even exist and has NO BEARING ON YOUR LIFE WHATSOEVER.

I don't believe in IT but I agree with BatmanTurian.

There is nothing wrong with having a different interpretation of the ending. Headcanons aren't illegal.

Edit: Actually, nm.  Mods may not appreciate my sense of humor.

Ignoring that it isn't 'headcanon' at all... I really hate people saying that, because its got negative implications.

Because like I've said before, you need to invent more 'headcanon' to justify a literalist ending then you do IT. Space Magic is headcanon.

I would've gone with, "Like sex, but with your pants on"

Space magic feels like getting shot in the head WITH a cannon.

Here we are: the final strech to see if everything that was thought up by the fans is right...
I never expected the EC to be released this early -August I expected- but I'm worrying about it, thinking about how Bioware can possibly clarify the ending if the IT is false.
It'll be heck of a start to my summer one way or another.

Pants better be optional.

Hmm. This isn't IT related, but a lot of friends here and we talk about these things... I just noticed the collectors in the flashbacks during Javik's recruitment mission look different than the ones in ME2. Not much, but definitely different. I find it hard to believe they'd bother redoing the model for a 2 second clip in an optional DLC. Perhaps we really will get collectors as enemies in-game eventually.

I would like it if they added the Collectors back in.  I want another enemy type in MP.

I'd imagine they'd be a little different, since they were supposed to have been genetically modified.

Even with the base destroyed, Cerberus was able to salvage parts of the human reaper.

Maybe some collectors survived.

I sense a Suicide Mission 2.0. Maybe we'll have a reunion with the full ME2 squad as well. Man that would be one hell of a DLC.

Well, according to the Invasion comic (starring Aria and Omega), there are also husk-ified Salarians, so we're likely to get these with the retake Omega DLC. Since this is Omega, maybe the Collectors going to be part of that, too.

Chris ‏@LazyTechGuy
@JessicaMerizan Aren’t the Reapers in Shepard’s head to some degree since the Catalyst knows to portray itself as the kid Shepard remembers?

Jessica Merizan ‏@JessicaMerizan
@LazyTechGuy now that's a ?? that I think is a really interesting (and intentional) discussion point! We know so little about reapers o_O

Better yet: a playable character.
I can't imagine them being that much of an enemy. I mean, they're either extinct or close to it.

yes but some people will always miss the obvious so that question was important to ask her. It got her flustered, that's for sure. Interesting.

Sure, it was. But it's nice to know that they actually encourage folks to look beneath the surface about certain elements.

Nothing in ME3 is "obvious" anymore. You'd think IT would be obvious. For someone who has played the EC multiple times to say that that's an interesting and intentional discussion point ... that could mean something.

On the other hand, it could just mean it's only a "discussion point" and intentional from the perspective of continued speculation.
