Right so at the very WORST, the Reapers are in Shepard's head, they are extracting information and they quite possibly are influencing his dreams since they later used this technique in the final scene.

Seems like the only debate at this point is if they can get information INTO his head. But clearly, they can get stuff out.

Someone has to be (or had to be) messing with Shepards head: either the Reapers or TIM. The former because there should be nothing special about Shepard that would prevent him from being a victim just like every advanced organic else currently in the galaxy. The former can be either happening in ME3 or is in retrospectively done during Project Lazarus: they did alter Shepard in some way; and that I would accept to make Shepard special to be able to resist Reaper indoc. But then, TIM must be in his head.

So someone is in Shep's mind. But who? And how?

I think who is easy to answer, at least if looked at logically.

What Reaper showed extraordinary interest in Shepard, but was mysteriusly absent for most of the third game? Harbinger.

Did we ever figure out what 'additional voices' Harby's VA did that he was credited for on ME3?

Also, given the fact that some people thought IT was disproved when she said Shep was actully in space. Then it turned out to be an opinion, meaning, some people are taking ever word seriously.

Totally.  She seems a lovely lady, but I can't bring myself to consider anything she says as being 'correct' based on some of those opinions she tweeted originally.  I really am a doubter, even when she says something I feel I should be soiling myself over in excitement.

Its sad really, but she couldn't/shouldn't ever come out and just spoil whatever is going on.  Would ruin the suprise.

Just hoping the suprise isn't a shanking.

I remember someone uploading youtube video based on that tweet she made claiming the theory was "debunked". When I looked at it myself I took it seriously. Then I later found out it was an opinon. Now, I know that feel but people can get really mad at such stuff that has been said. But what can you do? She seems to like speculation and even ecourages it.
Alot of people on youtube keep saying the theory is false.

Yes! For newcomer players not a big deal at all. But even though they outright said that ME3 was ideal for newcomers, A LOT of ME3 players also played the previous games, so they know some of Sovereign's quotes, Saren's quotes and of course, Harbinger. And for those, who played Arrival, they even know how Harbinger looks like (that missing tenticle).

The reason I mention this is, I always thought whether it was a legit argument that Harbinger was missing. And now I know, it is: By the same logic, TIM could be considered a problematic antagonist for newcomers. So why remove Harbinger?

Well, if you did Arrival before the Suicide Mission, Harby appears as the Collector General instead of as a Reaper.

Considering we never really learned much of harbinger except his obsession with Shepard he could easily fit in again. Add a short quote of Shepard talking with a squaddie of how Harbinger is back after tormenting them through the Collectors for new players and presto he is ready for mindcontrolling Reaper forces and sprouting creepy quotes again.

Also how is it any better when we suddenly get the message taht Harbinger is heading for us. A new player would go like "who the **** is Harbinger?!" except for the single quote on Rannoch. If he did his little Mind control trick throughout the game a new player woudl go like "Oh so that is the guy who has been pulling the strings on those enemies."

Exactly. I thought since Rio Harby has been manipulating events behind the scenes (like the Emperour from Star Wars) and when everything was in order he sprung a trap with Shepard thinking the Conduit would be an easy run. (much like the alliance when they hit the Death Star).
Sorry for the bad comparison...

There must have been an intentional reason for keeping Harbinger absent. It'd be like a Star Wars movie without a Sith. No, more like Lord of the Rings but failing to mention anything about Sauron during the third act.

I guess that lack of Harbinger also confused other players: Before I finished ME3 I thought a youtube comment spoiled me, it said "That kid from Vancouver is Harbinger".
At first I was :pinched:.
But when I finished the game I thought . That is not the case at all.

Regarding your second paragraph: this dialog line is actually different if you didn't import a ME2 save. In that case it doesn't mention Harbinger at all.

Is it bad that I'm secretly hoping that by 'new content starting just before the (conduit) run' means 'Harbinger has a speaking role and taunts you as you're charging towards him'?

Because my goodness. Yes. Yeeeeees. YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES.

I remember someone said there are several line for this ocasion, if you haven't played ME1 and ME2, you will hear that some Reapers are heading towards you, so no word of Sovereign-class or Harbinger.

That would be amazing, but I'm not going to hold out hope.  Merely hearing something like:

"It Is Useless To Resist Us, Shepard.  We Have Already Won.  Give In To Us."

YES!! Oh God atlleast a "Direct intervention is nessisary!" Come on that run was wasted potential for Harbinger! He just quietly kills everyone in seconds and that's it? What a let down for many.

I don't know why people get worked up about it.  Honestly I think he looks better in 3.  The visual on the conduit run was incredible if you ask me.  It was the first time I believe we've gotten Shepard close enough to a capital ship to appreciate the sheer immensity of it.
