Ok, I'll bend. Let's say Protheans can't sense indoctrination (which I believe they can - they'd only have to be confronted with 1 indoctrinated being to sense the changes in their getetic/chemical makeup), the VI on Thessia can, though it didn't sense it in him/her.

So just to be clear. . . do you guys still hold on to indoctrination, even though you know its a debunked theory?

The Protheans could detect indoctrination perfectly, but they were taken down from within by indoctrinated agents.

So just to be clear... shut up.

It must be fun being a literalist. They can just drop one sentence and expect to be taken seriously.

It probably is fun to be a literalist.  They say ignorance is bliss and I've never met people more ignorant in my life.

hey now lets be nice

Just hit Sanctuary. Maybe this time I can keep Miranda alive.

Anyhow, listened to an audio log of a woman with a sick child who sought out Sanctuary. The child's illness was not disclosed, just that they were refugees and that clinics elsewhere were turning refugees away. More poignantly, the woman does not seem to recall where she found out about Sanctuary.

It would be interesting if Cerberus had used some sort of low level indoctrination signal to draw people into the place and lull them into a false sense of security.

Okay I can see that you are not going to budge on your point. The VI and protheans can only detect Indoctrination by whether you are or you aren't. Not if you are inbetween. They can't detect it because your mind hasn't given itself up to the Reapers yet.

Your mind is indoctrinated by the Reapers putting an idea into your subconsious (by infrasound) that slowly manifests itself until it seems like it was your idea. (Inception) A more direct way is by putting in nanides into your body which makes the process much quicker but leaves your body husk like.

I think that was  nice by Rifneno standards. He called them ignorant, not stupid. ;)

Anyone else find it strange that there are so few points where you can manually save the game during Priority Earth?

It's understandable as nearly every corner is fell of enemies. But I admit that I never gave it a thought...hm

You can't save the game manually in anywhere after or before beam. The closest save location where you can manually save is couple small skirmishes before the missile launch battle.

If you think BW will directly tell you your theory is totally off base, you can't be more mistaken. You're clutching straws and you must know it.

Hah! Didnt someone just the other day ask what happened to all the literalists claiming we were clutching at straws?

Havent seen one of these in a while. If we're quiet, we can observe it in its natural habitat!

@YouCanCallMeAly Do you think the team gave up their last 4 weekends so they can listen to statements like that?

So uhhh....why the rush in the last 4 weeks?? They have had 4 months. Also they must have worked really hard on this and I'm sure it'll hurt them if people hate the EC. Have a little sympathy people...they worked really hard on this.

It does frankly annoy me that people make a statement and don't back it up with logic/ reasoning. If you are going to make a point, have some proof!!

But instead of logic and reasoning, all I see in most IT arguments are logical fallacies.

Re the post about protheans detecting indoctrination, you are right, it isn't perfect - but much like Javik learning to communicate with Shep, once confronted with an indoctrinated being, he would be able to sense them.  The imperfection is that each pothean would have to be confronted by an indoctrinated being to be able to sense them thereafter.  Saying the VI couldn't sense it in Shep just because it doesn't conform to your theory is actually illogical, which is interesting since you seem to hold logic as the most important part of your arguments.

The only place I ever found that would take a manual save is the apartment area with the skeleton on the bed. I did manage to get a manual save in at the FOB, but only after I reloaded from an autosave. Otherwise the option has been grayed out even there.

I love how people can derive information that doesn't even exist. Talk about head canon.

Its getting to the point where IT is looking more literalist then what pro-enders are saying. Amazing.

Cookies. They taste good. Especially chocolate chip cookies. Agree?

Also,cardboard boxes. Got any?

And let's not forget fries. They go great with fried fish, and with burgers.

Care to back that up with some actual evidence?

Considering the ******-poor excuse for (most) counter arguments we've had for the last few months, you'll really suprise me if you come up with anything we've not heard before.  But I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and let you try.
