Let's get this cleared up cause I think you are having a problem with this...Shepard the entire game isn't indoctrinated until he makes his choice at the end. At the end it is where he either gives up his mind to the Reapers or he fights back. Control=become Reaper. Synthesis=everyone becomes Reapers. (This is proven because in Synthesis everyone become's part synthetic part organic. The Reaper's are already this.) So as you admit the VI or the Prothean wouldn't detect Shepard as indoctrinated cause they can only detect if he is or not. And since Shepard so far doesn't see either at the end they can't see if he is after the choice.

Logical Fallacy.

How is this?? Please explain with logic. Synthesis is the melding of organic and synthetic. So how is my statement false? Also it has been proven that Reapers are both synthetic and organic. Thus the synthetic technology and needing of harvesting for organic goo.

Edit: Okay I admit that my statement about the becoming a Reaper specifically was incorrect. However you do become which the Reapers have been trying to do the entire time. A perfect meld between organics and synthetics. You might as well be a reaper cause you are essencially made of the same stuff as the Reapers at that point.

You become part synthetic and part organic, yes, but don't go so far as to say you might as well be a reaper.  As a matter of fact, the synthesis ending makes the reapers obsolete by its very nature.

Complete side note:  The reapers kept referring to the cycle as something beyond Shep's comprehension.  After finishing the game and understanding what the cycle is and what it is for, was the truth closer the being beyond the reaper's comprehension?

The inaudible sound is actually a really interesting point and an intelligent addition by BioWare. Theoretical? Yes. Proof of indoctrination? No. Then again, gravity is only a theory, so take what I just said how you will.

Rifneno: Even as you jest, just by using the word "us," you imply that you do.

lol denial. Reapers use infrasonic noise in indoctrination. There is no reason for that noise to be in there because it won't play on conventional speakers. HENCE, it is just extra work for Bioware sound techs. Creating sounds none of us would ordinarily hear seems like a waste of time, money, and human resources.

It could just be a bug. Honestly even if the IT was true why would they put a clue that is so subtle that the average player wouldn't discover it without the necessary equipment to do so?

Exactly... why would they put it in there? Do you have an answer at all?

Maybe but it's coincidence if so.  We eventually found out that those things are on the outside of the Citadel elevator shaft at the ending of ME1.  So if IT is true, the reason they're there at the end of 3 is because Shepard is reconstructing the area from his memories and he remembers those on the outside of the Citadel from 3 years prior.

I'm not talking about the letters, I'm talking about the structures they're attached to (the scene where Shepard ascends to meet Anderson).

Hmm, actually not Turian cruiser but Alliance.

I don't kow about the 1M1, but I noticed that the "platform" in the middle of the confrontation room is not there before the actual confrontation.

It raises when Shepard touches the console. Why?

Because they aren't necessarily placing clues for the AVERAGE player.  I don't want to sound arrogant, or anything, but it does seem like IT attracts a certain element that is extremely dedicated.

Not really because the letter on the Normandy could just be Alliance code or something.. 1M1 is in places that 'supposedly' no one has ever been before...

Well if you have seen the Indoctrination Theory: A Documentary, he goes on about this. He also shows that the symbol was also in ME1 where you blow out the window to get out of the elevator onto the surface in the Citadel.

I know that it raises after the console, but what I mean is that, before the scene, the platform section of the room isn't there at ALL.  It just seems a little weird to me.

Edit: The platform shows up once you get close to the confrontation chamber, but it still seems a little weird that they wouldn't load it earier.

Inaudible sounds can impact human physiology, so it would be a sensory addition---one that the Reapers themselves utilize.

*walks in the door*

Hmm? Ah, yes. Those are the "prongs" of the mass accelerators. One would notice that virtually all things involving mass acceleration are shaped like Relays. One could argue that the lower prong or tube is an intake valve for air, (to prevent suction-based overpressuring in the chamber), but seeing as you can attach bayonets to the ones on shotguns *shrug*.

Basically its the trope "The Dev Team Thinks of Everything" Basically they didn't wish to half ass it so they added those noises to help add to the effect that we the player are Shepard rather then just playing as him. We have to experience that infrasonic stuff ourselves in order to get sucked into it.

It can't play on conventional speakers, so they can jump through that loophole.

Idk, but I just watched a video from the same guy that shows the Normandy crash planet scene is in the same area as the Crucible at the end. You can see reflections of the trees from a certain angle on the Crucible...

Some of the stuff is just weird, like Marauder Shields not spawning until right before he comes out and such.

The only explanation I can see for that weird circle is that Anderson came in that way. It's doubtful, though. The more I listen to the dialogue in that scene, the more I realize it can't be real. None of it makes sense. Anderson sounds like Shepard's imaginary friend, saying the things Shep is thinking, i.e. "this looks like the Collector Base." Even if Shepard "described" it, there is really no way Anderson would think of that. Then the whole "the halls are shifting" or w.e. It just sounds surreal. Or like they're in a virtual reality room that is adjusting, lol.

Well yes and no. They just interpret it differently.

To be fair, the pro-Synthesis compendium thread proves that some of the literal interpretations of the ending are just as complex as the IT if not more.

Considering that it would be a sensory effect without a direct message, I don't believe it would. But I'm not up to speed on my subliminal message laws.

I believe that everyone is entitled to their opinion...and I love debate when it can be intellectual. So on that point I thank you. But to just enter in on a thread and say that everyone is wrong will get a lot of negative feedback. Also just saying "Logical Fallacy" without explaination just screams "TROLL!!!!" to most of us who have come to experiance a lot of in the last couple days.
