Has anyone been able to clean up these images enough to read what any of the text says?
*snip*

The pics are really low res so I don't think we can. The one where they're standing in front of the chart looks like they blurred the text areas purposely. I can try some sharpening with my photo editing software. I'm no graphics expert though.

Too low res to do anything with. And I think they purposely blurred the screens/text.

Just tried myself and I'm using some dedicated blur-removal/sharpness plug-ins for CS6. I say they've actually lowered the bandwidth of the image and tested to see if anyone can sharpen the image themselves before they posted anything. Which makes me wonder; why tell us anything at all? Why tell us about Joker fleeing from battle? Why show the crew in a memmorial stance? or the "green-eyed" geth with a maskless quarian? There's only days until the EC and I'm sensing some deliberate seeding and control of information on BW's behalf.

I think you are right. These can't be random/cool pics. I've also been trying some more. I quintupled the image size to and have been trying different combinations of sharpening and edge enhancement. I feel like I can almost read it, but lol I'm not even close.

The model ship IS the first thing you see in the game! My God...

Lol Harbinger knew we wouldn't be able to resist a little easter egg hunt.

Despite the tongue-in-cheekness of it all; I'm actually starting to scare. As I just realized that the model interceptor is also used in the 'take back earth' trailer, and what's the first thing Shepard does in that trailer?; picks the model up...

The answer was in plain site the whole time. and now " at the end, do we realize the power of the dark side." :crying:

This is one of those rare times when I hope I'm not right.

I think our main disagreement comes from two places.

First, I truly believe that the reapers were designed solely to preserve organics through harvest.  While it also accomplishes self preservation, I believe their original purpose is still their main one:  Harvest organics at the apex of their civilation before self destruction to preserve them.

Oh my God!!! :o He's indoctrinated!!!

Really man, that would be a comment from Saren in ME1 except this time we have no paragon interrupt option...

I don't get how simply believing what the reapers have always said, we're going to kill you and preserve your goo (that's paraphrased) makes me indoctrinated.

L.M.F.A.O.

Now I KNOW you're trolling.

Well-played man...

Bravo..

You've been caught man. Anyway, I'm off to bed. Don't get too crazy. :P

Also you guys need to see my Waking Nightmare Theory: Version 2 (if you haven't seen it) when you have a chance...

Does anyone know if there's a file for that weird "stop-code 89" sign on earth? It'd be interesting to learn it's name. Unless it's just part of a wall and doesn't have a name. I don't understand this stuff yet.

I did a runthrough of cronos yesterday running FRAPS.
Most interesting thing for me was the bit about TIM getting implanted, watch that video, it's right before the ramp at the end...

Why does he look super evil with his husky renegade face at the end?

I assumed it was because of his implants, but I just had a conversation with him (via hologram) on Cronos, after he had gotten the implants, and his face was perfectly fine.

What made it get all weird?

Oh right, that's one of the weird things that isn't really explained. If we consider the end to be a hallucination, then we presume that it's because since shepard knows he's indoctrinated/implanted, s/he's hallucinating him turning into this monster basically. Sounds like something from a bad dream, right?

If control isn't a viable option (according to IT), why do the Reapers attack Sanctuary?

(I'm on that mission so I'm thinking about it.)

There's a huge leap between controlling the reapers, and controlling reaper husks via signal hijacking or whatever they do. At least that's how it's talked about in game.

Then why do the Reapers perceive it as a threat?

last page, but saw this.

If the Reapers had perceived Sanctuary as a serious threat they wouldnt simply have send ground forces to destroy it. They would simply have taken a few shots from space and obliterate the entire area.

They probably saw it as a nuisance, not a threat.

That was always confusing to me... I always assumed the literal explanation was just that the implants were dissolving... or they huskified his face over a short period of time. Looks quite painful actually... eek. I liked the way he looked in the end scene though, rightly horrifying. Ugh that scene should've been so much longer. Do we know if Martin Sheen recorded any new dialogue?

And yeah it would make sense that Shepard imagined him as being more Reaper-like in the dream, that's sort of what I figured for IT

Yeah, it makes sense if it's a hallucination, but otherwise, not really.

How did he even get on the Citadel. Where was he when we hit Cronos?

He seems like this little person who is just tagging along with the Reapers.

I still think it's odd that he lectures Shepard in the end and tells him "I need you to believe." And that he tells Leng not to kill Shep if at all possible.

Why? Why? WHY?

Yeah I was just wondering if there was a non-IT explanation. Because IT has always seemed too good to be true, so I'm really not expecting it. But I'm hoping for it, and I support the crappy bananas out of it.

I always hated the idea that he was just chilling in the Citadel the entire time instead of doing something malicious like we've come to expect from him... seriously so he was just sitting around in there and waiting?

Also notice that it's like he wanted Shep to find and listen to the VI? Why did TIM leave the VI there and risk it falling into the "wrong" hands? Why didn't he sick Kai Leng on Shep before s/he has a chance to talk to the VI?

No idea.

Not to mention he comes up the same way you come in but you never see him on the way.

The ramp up to TIM's room at Cronos reminds me of the ramp up to the Citadel room place (that also looks exactly like TIM's room). The walls are really weird, too. Like a bunch of green panels sticking out of the wall.

I've always tried to take IT with a grain of salt because yeah, despite how much I support and belive in it, it does seem a little too good to be true, so I just try to look at everything from both sides. But yeah I prefer IT because it's interesting and it makes the most sense. Not to mention the amount of evidence to support it is staggering. So at this point I'm just trying to expect nothing at all, so I won't be crushed when the EC comes out. ;)

Honestly can't think of a really good literal explanation, as there's no precedent for someone looking like this after implantation. The implant he received caused additional implants to spring up, due to nanid/tes or something... replacing his skin? We have to assume this happens very quickly, or that the hologram projection of him is altered to look more normal...

Maybe he got impatient, waiting for Shepard, and went up and touched the "Control" device before Harbinger screamed at him, so it only partially absorbed him. Then that caused a clitch in the system that made the Catalyst appear as a kid, instead of its true form.
