Look from watching part two of IT I can say it was intend and they do support IT and watch the video



You'll see what I am talking about.

And when IT is proven true we can't rub it in the people who were apposed IT because we won't be like them when they tried to troll us when we were trying to proven IT right.

This may be a silly question, but why are some ITers claiming they will pack their bags if IT isn't shown to be true in the EC? Is there no possibility that if nothing in the EC clearly states that Shep is indoctrinated/in the process of indoctrination, that it could simply point to the idea even more? As in, provide more evidence (or more strongly indicate that you all have been on the right track) in support of IT but that we will have to wait once again for the truth to be fully unveiled at a later date, such as in future DLC?

If I'm totally off the mark, and have missed something important such as a statement that the EC is the be-all-end-all then disregard my question!

Don't think they will do another DLC like the EC (though they stated they wanted to do more but the 2GB limit from XBox denied that), so if IT is true they will make it either a straight up confirmation or add more obvious clues but wont actually tell us about it in a direct way, which I would prefer.

Okay guys. I have finished watching Clever Noob's part 2 documentary. I am eager to discuss it with you guys. Without revealing anything, I want to say I am satisfied that he knocked it out of the frakkin park, even though I only disagree with him on one point, which I will talk about later once more people have watched it.

Seriously, he hit a home run though. It's gorgeous. I only wish he had included some of our recent infrasonic evidence. That's the only spoiler I'll give you.

yeah, i liked his video and by far the strongest evidence IMO is the "shepard lives" impossibility that occurs in the destroy ending.

That second documentary is awesome, and has stuff in it I didn't even know about. Mad props to Clever Noob for putting it together on such a short notice.

On another note, a lot of the footage in there somehow made me feel nostalgic for Mass Effect. I feel like playing again. Another reason to hope this EC thing works out...

I really get pissed nowadays - because all I'm hearing from people that don't support IT - is that they think its too smart of a concept for BioWare.

I don't see how I can take these people serious anymore...

I think IT was planned all along - and I'm one of the few people who loved the ending for that assumption.

Just combining two possible explanations for the VI not detecting indoctrination. Even if Shepard WAS fully indoctrinated, they might fail to detect it.

Wow... nearly a hundred pages since I left a few days ago?

Teetering on the edge of the fence, I am. Cautiously optimistic for IT, but Bioware's responses make it seem like the EC is still going to leave some things ambiguous. +10 minutes/playthrough doesn't seem like enough to sow up the loose seams. Maybe they're downplaying the scope of the DLC to avoid getting hopes up?

Can't wait to watch the part 2 documentary later tonight.

I'm okay with that, but what really caught my intention was if time run's out in the arrival you see images of the future and tis not good. Also the very end of the video is startiling with all of the twitter feed back they provided that helps IT indefenatly.

I'm glad the mods became more proactive. Not that they weren't proactive before, it's just that they're more closely monitoring the boards now for this obnoxious nonsense.

For the longest time I was convinced that IT was planned from the beginning, and it I expected bioware to have some intelligent or reveal to the game as they have shown so capably in the past.

The only thing that has given me pause of doubt has been the strange offical responses, but I remain hopeful.

prothean VIs can detect indocrinated individuals, though they're not perfect so some might fly under the radar.
however shepard isn't indocrinated at that point in time so there's a 0% chance of the prothean VI detecting anything unusual about shepard.

The problem with that is he says that if Shep was already fully indoctrinated she would just serve the Reapers instead of heaving a fight in her head, which is disproven by Seran at multiple occasions where he hesitated and later killed himself, and TIM who later killed himself.

He's making the case twice over. Shepard isn't indoctrinated until the end. We're not saying he was indoctrinated in that scene, but even if we did, the Prothean VI's were fallible anyway so we wouldn't argue that Shepard as indoctrinated the whole game. Only in the process of it.
