I'm like 30 mins into the Indocumentary. The evidence is really good, though the guy, as in the first one, comes off as arrogant and jumps to some illogical conclusions, but it's very good regardless.[/quote]

This was my problem with the documentary - but as for the documentary itself - I agree and always have agreed with it from the very beginning.

So here is a recent post on twitter by Michael Gamble:

all of the content of the Extended Cut can be seen AFTER the game's
final choice, right? there's nothing before the beam, right?Michael Gamble[/b]

@
@Loaderini there is content before the beam
And this just makes my theory sound more and more plausible. So I hope it is more content that can help with my WNT.
I guess at this point everyone is hoping they are right.
This is exactly what they wantedpaxxton wrote...
I think I missed the outpour of posts during the weekend.
If you want, you can faithfully recreate the experience of reading 80 pages of mostly trolling by smashing your face repeatedly onto a desk or a wall until you feel suitably brain-damaged.
But it could be both, and I think he means yes the same content before the dlc content.

I'm anti-IT, or literalist, whatever you want to call me, but here's the thing....
With the way IT is structured, it can be true, no matter what, even if they clarify each and every ending, it can still be called shepard's post-death dream of what he thought happened. Hell, even if Bioware flat out denied IT, it could still be true.
Personally, I'm a literalist, but NOTHING has a single interpretation. It is up to YOU to interpret ANYTHING you see. This also give me a right to interpret things literally though, so cut me some slack there. I'm not stupid for viewing something different
We appreciate people who can respectfully disagree, so thank you for that.
I, for one, don't want IT to be headcanon. I don't want it to be an interpretation. I want it to be explicitly shown. I want Shepard to be confronted by his squad if he gives in and I want the option to honorably kill myself. I want the option to fight my crew with a fleet of Reapers behind me. I want to ride a banshee into battle. I want to kill Harbinger. I want all of that. YES. YES. YES.
What was the question? Oh, you didn't have one.
Again, I appreciate what you said, as well as your respect, but I just want it to be clear. I don't want to have to make up my own ending. I just want a good one.
You want to ride a Banshee into battle?Implications... problematic.
But I agree with your sentiments.

I think he should have peer-reviewed with us and not just the people on his forum. Or is it our fault for not signing up to his site? Nah, he should come to us.
We are the final authorotah on Indoctrination Theory.

Most of the evidence was found by people in this forum so why he wouldn't peer-review with us is weird. Then again, it could have devolved into arguing.FellishBeast wrote...

He talks about the binary codes on Bioware's Facebook, and how they all point to things that happen in ME3. And then DEBUNKS IT AS RELIVENT.
HOW?!?!
Seriously, how do you come to that conclusion? Hoooooooooow?
Edit: And yes I know he gives it a plausible. Very grudgingly. But its still mind boggling.

Which not-from-ashes prothean visions are we talking about here?BatmanTurian wrote...

You can find all the shadowmap files in Umodel but I don't have anything to read them with - but yeah, the shadow maps change from scene to scene - throughout the citadel sequence there are loads of such little subtle tweaks in lighting and such - have you ever tried turning around in the bloody keeper corridor when you reach the end of it?
Also folks, decided that I'm going to try slowing down the bits from the start and end of the prothean visions and put those on youtube - I remember seeing stuff of interest there
The evidence you offered him about the listener stuff made my jaw hit the floor, so I am really interested in your dissection of the prothean visions. perhaps you could check the ones from the From Ashes DLC mission too?
I've slowed the from-ashes ones to 2fps, it's about six minutes long now - In keeping with the prothean belief in "patterns" we see a prothean soldier running towards a reaper then being knocked down by its beam repeatedly.
There's other stuff but I've not looked through in detail yet.
Youtube coming soon.

I fear you are right. On the other hand, I do not really care for the trolls - I will probably feel disappointed anyway, because bascially the only thing that keeps me interested in the EC is whether they confirm IT or not (or at least make it more plausible or not).
Maybe we should ask a mod to close this thread right before the EC comes out - so it can rest in peace while the troll hordes storm the forums.
