No, we can't.  Because IT'ers don't have an ending until IT is either flatly debunked by BW or proven by BW and given a finish where Shepard wakes up and finishes the Reapers.  Because right now they're still reaping.  There is no middle ground.  IT must be confirmed or killed to have closure.

I agree with Rifeno on this. The ending as is stands is not good unless you view it through the IT lens. If all they are doing is piling more crap onto the crap pile, that makes it worse, not better. It does sound like Bioware are trying to go for an open-ended/Inception-type ending (or, more accurately, Total Recall), but it doesn't sound like EC will be the reveal we were all hoping for.

I did used to think that... and I still think the evidence the good people in this forum have uncovered was, for the most part, intentionally placed there by Bioware in order to put that ambiguity into the game. But do I think that EC will reveal IT to be true? No, I no longer do. There is a difference between being vague and being intentionally misleading. The fact that Bioware were so vague about IT was actually a big reason that I believed that something was up. But to outright say it will not be addressed... I can't ignore that. I am preparing myself for the worst- I am certainly not hopeful. I feel like someone has told me that my Christmas present is a poo. I will still open it to make sure, but I am preparing myself for the stench.

Also preparing myself for a massive wave of 'I told you so's' down at the pub from everyone I told IT about...

Then you think the ending will come in a sequel, that ME3 is NOT the conclusion of Shepard's story.

Well honestly I think they are already showing that quite clearly.  EC would actually have to show Shepard as an indoctrinated agent for a lot of people to notice.

But that's a far cry from saying we have no idea what the EC will contain.

Also, aren't you one of the ones always going on about "respectful discussion". Maybe not be so defensive and rude when someone is asking simple questions. If you don't want to answer the question, ignore the post.

This is where I stand on the Indoctrination theory with all the Info that I've gathered. As long as Bioware doesn't disprove any major points on the Indoctrination Theory, Such as the ending being an Indoctrination attempt, I'm going to stick to this theory as the ending.
I so hope this series doesn't end up like the Ultima series.

This is going to be a stretch but what they hey... "speculations!"

What if they are neither confirming/denying IT in EC because they are setting up an expansion for IT or ME4 maybe? I know I know, ME3 Shepard's last story, last Mass Effect only prequels... But they've said a lot of things that have been lies...
I guess the only thing that will disprove it is those epilogue scenes... Damn so close it's frustrating, I just want to know Bioware! =(

The fact that XBOX gets it first by several days, while PC players, like myself have to wait, meaning I either avoid the forums, or get spoilers.

Also guys, buck up, they're not saying anything they haven't said before, and one way or another, we get closure, that is what we have been promised. Period. And at nearly 2 gigabytes in size, roughly an 8th of the entire ****ing game, we have got SOME kind of **** going on.

I'm not being defensive or rude, at least not on purpose. I was trying to be neutral. Maybe I should have added emoticons?

Anyway, everything you said is true, but I'd rather just see what's going to be there before I make a final decision about all of it. It's the logical thing to do.

I know people keep saying this, but where in the hell has Bioware EVER said "only prequels from here on in"?

**** like that REEKS of disgruntled fans (like myself) basically saying "They ruined it so hard they can't go forward, they could only make prequels now!"

As for Expansion packs...

I'd buy it.

But then, I made the choice, sticking by Bioware, thick or thin, hell or high water, since they are simply one of the best damn companies out there, and in the end, they earned my trust. It sickens me to see people jumping all over them for the littlest things.

I'm still excited for DA3 damn it!

PS3 players have to wait, but the glorious PC gaming master race get the DLC at the same time as Xbox players.

Nobody else avoids being evaporated by a reaper beam throughout the series
Still not "proof", but interesting.

wow I didn't know that, so when does PC get it?

I have contemplated the size too and thought there was something going on, but remember that they are accounting for all playthroughs, so to see every piece of content in the EC you will have to do numerous playthroughs. 1.9GB might seem a lot, but you may only see 400MB worth of content on any one playthrough.
