Two things about Kumun Shol...

1. He had a "vision of a higher being"
2. He did what the vision told him to do and ended up accomplishing nothing

why do vanguards always die? I've lost more games rescuing vanguards than by the entire team screwing up on chance.

For me it's because I charge into a battlefield without properly checking how many enemies there are in the vicinity and checking for an escape route. Playing as a vanguard let's you take to much risk very easily.

What race vanguard do you play? On my human vanguard, unless theres a banshee I somehow didnt see, it doesnt matter how many enemies I charge into, I'm not gonna die.

When I play a vanguard I always play as a human. It's a mistake I used to make a lot, but I've become better at it, playing much more deliberately. Last week I completed my first solo as a vanguard on bronze \\o/

I still feel that BioWare needs to explain the similarities in London mission. Too many things that are similar and symbolic. I feel my WNT covers what they were doing. So unless someone can figure something better, or even BioWare, I'll go with my explaination. (In signiture. Fixed original one and made version 2)  Something is definately up in London.

Well that's funny cause the only other time this happens in the game other than these two, is when the Reaper on Rannoch speaks to you. The scene seems to pulsate as the Reaper speaks. Coincidence??

What build do you use?

This is the one I generally use. Use weapons that give you a +200% cooldown, and you'll be pretty much unstoppable.

In my experience, shockwave is worthless, and a point in shockwave is a point wasted.

I'm pretty sure they are unified in their cause, sort of like the Geth. Sovereign was never supposed to be a "leader" but he seemed very dedicated to their cause. It did not sound forced at all.

That's my take on it, at least.

Well, I meant on a human vanguard specifically. Shockwave is worthwhile on other classes, but a complete waste on human vanguards.

Interesting I did not know that web tool. So how do you do deal your main portion of damage? Charge --> Nova ?

I tend also to this concept. Harbinger seems to have a slightly "higher position" though (ME2, Reaper on Rannoch: "Harbinger speaks of you"). "Reapers being controlled by Harbinger" was one of the speculations of this thread. I heard about it through Arian. Just wanted to know its outcome.

While the IT is well crafted I just don't think it is true. Partly because I believe it would undermine Shepards role in the games and mostly because I believe what the Catalyst says to be true because there doesn't seem to be much reasoning for the Reapers actions otherwise.

In short, I feel like the endings we have right now are completely fine and clear and to understand them you just need some faith in that the Catalyst is actually an ally despite the cruel nature of the cycles. For the Catalyst's plans to work and for the cycles to actually end an organic ( like Shepard ) would have to find the mettle to end up in that control room and in that not be indoctrinated, ever. Not by the Reapers at least. The dialogue in the game suggests this if you believe it's true. I really find no reason to consider anything the Catalyst says as a lie.

Granted it's all speculation, everything, but does anyone agree?

I've been meaning to look into something on Cronos station for a while and finally had a bit of time now that my work on 'Choose Wisely' is finished (for now).

So. I went to Cronos and looked for signs of a deja vu or blinking white lights like the flashes in the run to the beam and I found what I was looking for. Neither lights, nor deja vu, but something just as compelling.

When Shepard enters the room and walks towards TIM's chair/console, (s)he stops just short of the QEC. Yes. Short of the QEC. They are about half a tile away; that's two-two and a half feet from the edge of the dais, give or take.

The camera then pans up a bit. Shepard is fixed in place. The scene cuts to a shot of Shepard's face still motionless and (s)he starts to look down. (S)he is suddenly dead center of the QEC dais. The expression is a little odd. Wide eyed.

Just seems odd. Intended. Like the wound check on the Citadel.

Of course, near the end of this scene we find out Shep can break swords with their hands too, so maybe teleporting  two five feet isn't a stretch. I may upload a clip of it for those who can't play the game again yet. Most of us will be seeing that part of the game a lot come Tuesday, so not sure I should bother.

No. I disagree strongly. Literal explanation does not explain the Normandy crash, does not explain Shepard's breath scene, does not explain the jumping wound in the side, the reflections in the decision chamber, the huskification of Shepard if you choose control/synth, the moral wrongness and scientific wackness of synth, the infrasonic noises at specific parts of the game, the dreams, the strange words of TIM, the mystery of the transforming gun, the trees appearing at the beam, need I go on, or would you just like to watch the documentary?

Good news everyone. The pre-final edit of the video is done! Will be doing final edit passes and credits for the rest of the night and releasing on schedule tomorrow. Expect it around noon (American time)!

I've literally been working around the clock on this, and it has been oh so worth it! It has come out even better than I'd hoped, and I can practically guarantee that it will knock your socks off. Many many thanks to TurboJ, who has helped me make this possible!
