Yes. My Sarah Shepard was insane. She could have brokered peace but she didn't want to. She even romanced Diana Allers.

Not sure how many of you will remember me, but I contributed a fair bit back in the heady days of the first thread. I was in Spain at the time and had a lot of spare time on my own, so got stuck into the theorising and debate (even got into one or two little scrapes with the more ardent anti-IT trolls). Since I got back to England though I dropped back into the shadows, having said my piece; I figured I was convinced enough of the validity of the theory, and didn't have a huge amount more to add, so I decided to step back from the front lines of the IT debate.

I have kept checking back in and adding the odd post here and there since, and I'm glad to see that the stalwarts have stuck it out, holding that line and continuing to discuss even the tiniest bits of evidence right up to the bitter end - the bitter end which, of course, is now upon us.

So before I go to bed, and wake up tomorrow to face the mighty Extended Cut, with all the horror or elation it might bring, I'd just liked to thank you all, and congratulate you on being part of something genuinely special. I don't think I've ever seen such a coming together of people from all corners of the globe on any communications media I've been a part of.

The solidarity you (we) have shown in the face of all the scepticism, arrogance and nay-saying has been quite staggering, and the level of investigation has been, at times, mind-boggling. The very file system of ME3 has been rooted to its core, and the depths to which we've scrutinised the game, to its very molecular foundations, is a huge testament to how much we all care about giving the Mass Effect trilogy the send-off it deserves.

Because that's what it's all been about all along. All we've ever wanted was for this brilliant series to break new ground in its ending... and it just so happens that we've found a ton of evidence that suggests it may yet.

So, one last time...

Hold the line.

I remember you.^_^

I think I remember him, too.  It's good to see one of the old guard returning.

Ok, I'll play the EC with

- Femshep, mostly paragon, romance: Kaidan
- Genophage cured
- Quarians wiped out
- Destroy + low EMS = dead Shep

I'm planning to do a "perfect" walkthrough sometime, but for now I'll probably be seeing Shep's burial.. or Kaidan having a sad.. so expect me to post some highly emotional stuff Tuesday evening :D

Hey, I had no choice. I wasn't paragon enough (and not renegade enough either). But I have to say that it makes for a beautiful, tragic scene. And having to chose between Quarians and Geth, I 'd chose the Geth anytime. Tali's suicide is a sad thing, but she was never one of my favourites.

Btw, does anyone know what the planet is on the loading screen when you first start ME3?

Posted Image Earth?

It doesn't look like earth at all, since you see earth right after that at the main menu...

LOL. Which loading screen do you mean? The one with Press Any Key? There's the War Room in the main menu's background.

Okay...seriously...

You start the game, then BioWare/Ea/Omniblade pops up. Then a planet. Then it opens up and starts playing music and you see firey chunks falling towards earth and "Press Start." It is BEFORE you see earth.

Looks like Palaven or something to me. If it's earth.....eh, it's not earth.

I'm going to be blunt.  If I was FORCED to choose between the Quarians and the Geth (I.E. I couldn't make peace.), and Tali wasn't going to commit suicide if I chose the Geth, I would choose the Geth everytime.

I have to strongly disagree. Peace is preferable to either side being wiped out. Even if I was forced, I'd have to find a way.

I'm saying if I was placed in the position where there was absolutely, positively, NO WAY ingame to make peace (I.E. Legion dead, for instance.), I would choose the Geth if Tali wasn't going to commit suicide if I did so.

Edit: I'm not saying that peace isn't preferable.  I'm saying that if there was LITERALLY no third option, I would save the Geth.

If no option for peace, Quarians every time. Tali is not dying on my watch so Legion can cheat his way to sapience with Reaper code. What happened to finding your own path of technology, Legion? I guess you got impatient and scared.

You were embarassing them about how much they sucked.

I've run into this before. It's annoying.Posted Image

Yes it is. I now feel the need to troll some random people.

Time to host a match and set the enemy as Cerberus.

Then people can meet my vanguard:

Edit: Aww, photobucket overload!

Well, lets just say my vanguard looks a lot like a Cerberus trooper.

Tali is not my favourite. But I kept her alive with my canon paragon Jane Shepard, and also with my canon renegade Marian Shepard.

Then, I proceeded to wipe the geth out two times with two renegons, and killed off the quarians with two paragades.

Maybe it's so on Xbox 360. I play on a PC and after the logos it immediately shows Earth with Reapers invading and Press Any Key text.
