Regarding the first one, my explaination could be that the beam up to the citadel also doubles as an indoctrination device. It is Reaper tech after all. In my WNT: v2 I think I explained this concept well I believe.

Which is odd, since that means the Reapers were hanging around in the same cluster as the Citadel, but just ignored it until the end of the game...

Which is flat weird, period. Why leave the center of galactic civilization, which was always meant to be a trap, alone for so long? The canon period from leaving to returning to Earth is a few months; that's a long time to leave a target otherwised hit first.

Hey,thats another point why the starkid is lying since he says he is saving organics.
So why does he make the reapers destroy bankenstein instead of landing on it to help "ascend" the colonists?

If It's anything, the reason I never commented on it was becuase I assumed that was pretty much what we were all getting at

True, but its still a rather Renegade action.  One you don't get to pick at all, it just happens.

Personally I don't care.  But Paragon Shepard (and going by the 'Predator = Paragon' idea that seems to hold up most of the time) wouldn't be so quick on the trigger.  A lot of the time ParaShep tries to take everyone prisoner, regardless of the situation.

Finishing Priority: Earth right now. I just noticed that things start to get surreal after launching the missiles at the Destroyer after that brute/banshee fight.

Shepard starts turning his head quite often, looking disoriented. The ground is also flashing, supposedly from the beam. I just noticed it got sort of weird.

Driving up to the beam now...

lmao...so for the run to the beam, I just stood there, then I walked backwards and went around the edge, and the Makos never drove down the hill. I'm 3/4 to where Shep gets hit and there are 3 Makos just sitting at the top of the hill, perfectly still.
