Because the hint that Shepard's love interest will be reunited and the fact that we might very well have confirmation of Habringer posing as the Catalyst perhaps? A bit pyrric but still thats something at least.

Even so, we put in a ton of effort and whether it was "squandered" or not, at least we had the tenacity to find all this and actually maintain hope until the EC came out which is more then i can say for a lot of other people. You should feel at least proud that you were able to find so much to actually build up this titantic foundry of evidence which may still yet have some weight to it. Thats what the IT was about, having hope for a trilogy we love and staying loyal to that point.

This. I couldn't have asked for more. I wouldn't care for a definate yes or no answer - but they gave us a single hint which can be speculated upon and strengthens the theory!

They went to far ahead with some change, it completly destroy IT. First they took the time to remove every human numbers from the citadel (haha). Second when you pick the refuse ending, starchild is mad, yes. We already knew he was the reaper/control them. He also explain his origin in an investigate dialogue. Third when you pick that ending everyone die, the ending shows the next cycle with liara hologram box.

Unless you want to belive they worked so hard to remake more dream sequence, its clear IT was a fun but fan made theory. Take that as you will when you play the EC. But its clear that they went far to debunk IT for most of the community, even if they said they didnt, actions are bigger then words.

I'm not sure how to feel about this to be honest.

It doesn't feel right.

Not in that it feels bad, which to some extent it does, but it feels... it feels off. Like something is not as it seems here, and I don't know why.

Right now I wish myself back to the days of ME1
that was the game which really started my "gaming career"
such an awesome experience
I was completely unspoiled and didn't know anything about the story
everything was better *sniff*
and I could still get excited about how the story would continue...

"1M1" is still there during Catalyst scene. False rumor before. I saw it. It wasn't removed.

Its removed in the citadel control room though? I guess they only removed half of them then, get it they just wanna half debunk it.

It's not so bad.

They did fill in a bunch of plot holes from the sound of it. So it's not the best, usually it never is, but it is liveable.

Trolls are people who disagree with IT. The truth of IT is immediately apparent to clever, dedicated, bien pensant fans - anyone disagreeing is merely doing so to stir up trouble.

How does these destroy IT, since IT explains why Shep was being friendly with a Reaper and the choices he/she was offered, not what happened for squadmates? Sorry but you don't even seem to know what's the point of IT to begin with<_<

Nah, least yer keeping spirits up. I can think of worse things to be doing right this second. In either case the 1M1 was not the strongest piece of evidence and in fact I felt it was horribly weak. What is much more potent however is the infrasonic waves. We still have those for the moment and we'll have those for a while still until the PC gamers get their fun in and start searching. 

Least Shepard isn't asking "What's a Reaper?"

5k EMS my TMS was 7k and some odd number. Yes I just finished it about 10 minutes ago.

So I just saw the Good Destroy ending with the EC. It gets my seal of "Ehhhh. Okay, fine." approval and a C- grade. Soon to see the other new endings.

My initial impression is that a literal take on the ending has grown stronger with the EC retcons and updates.

I know I'm being a little over enthusiastic - I've been writing about "Starchild / Reaper" connection in every thread I could find - but I don't mean to troll....I just believe in Mass Effect and BioWare - and a lot of questions remain open.

To this day I still belief that BioWare intention was "IT" all along (at least after the first script leaked).

So as you said - my spirits are high.

Just watched the Refusal ending. Only thing I wonder about is how Liara managed to change the capsule while everything was being destroyed around her.
But I have to say, this will probably become my favourite ending. I can say "f*ck you, starchild". Ok, everybody dies, and it's a downer, but it's kind of well done and the scene with Liara mirroring Vigil sends chills down my spine.

You actually know what happens to them, they all died and you see the next cycle with liara beacon waiting to help the next cycle with informations. Its alright see ya in mass effect 4.

What part of the game seems to suggest that this IS actually happening?
What part of the game debunks the theory that you're dreaming?
