If IT was true, they wouldn't have expanded on the "hallucination" scenes.
Whaaa? That makes no sense to me. Why not?
Well, it seems pretty obvious to me. It would be wasted effort - if the sequence already establishes that it is a hallucination, why expand on it? Why not spend the time on the "real, true" ending DLC?
I have an explaination - but it pisses off the guys who don't believe in IT.
My theory is two fold -
a) People didn't like itPeople didn't understand it.
For those who didn't like it - they are trying to make it better
For those who didn't understand it - as you say - they are expanding on it to make it stand out more and obvious.
Guys seriously....
Have you seen the assets from the game that are marked "DREAM"
It really can't get more obvious of what's going on.

Yeah, you might find the plant textures used in the dream sequences, in a file called "DREAM" no less!

From what I'm hearing the ending at face value doesn't make sense yet again:
Catalyst isn't influenced/"changed" by Crucible, hence the Reject ending.
For the RGB choices to work out as Catalyst says, you must be trusting a lying Reaper.
If you don't accept the Reaper way of thinking and "end this on own terms" then the Catalyst doesn't feel necessary anymore to talk with a voice similar to a child.
So the ending still sounds like manipulation to meB) Correct me if I'm missing anything

Past the point. Go read what I wrote about the second movie and how it ends.
It's an open ending - similar to the one we have here.
I remember that scene, but I don't think it's leading up to ME4. If there's a ME4, it'll probably be a prequel or take place further in the future.

Everyone here should remember all the IT foreshadowing, accidental or intentional, by BioWare as has been extensively documented here and on YouTube. One of two things is at some level true:
1. BioWare accidentally included quite a bit of foreshadowing and lots of circumstantial evidence which can lead to IT; or
2. IT is true in some form.
Both need explanations.
We need to watch very carefully how BioWare discusses the new content and specifically watch to see if the ending results are discussed at places like SDCC. That may let us infer if there is a twist in the works and up the sleeve or if what you see is what you get.
I'm also super excited to see the actual files analyzed.

I am convinced. Of course, if the game had contained prominent dream sequences that used those assets, then maybe there would be a good explanation, but clearly you've hit the nail on the head with this one.
Not sure what you're trying to say with this.
I'll spell it out.
The game contains several dream sequences set in a forest (remember - you chase the boy?).
Those sequences use the plant textures you posted.
For some reason you think this is a big deal. Why?

It's from the jungle planet...he's thinking of how all the choices he's making at the end (Red, green, blue) will affect the future...with the exception that none of it is happening.
I really think BioWare are trolling us big time here.

Wrong. I believe these assets come from the jungle planet at the end.
Shepard believes that the crew makes it out alive - and he's dreaming about them settling on a new world.

This was proabably used in the actual dream sequences , or Bioware originally itended IT and changed there minds later. Point is there's a perfectly reasonable explantation.

Yes but why would they bother showing this?
They could just leave the entire thing to your imagination.
And why would they only show it with the "Destroy" ending?
Think about it...

According to some yes - not me. I'm still fighting here. could really use some help
Going home finally to download and play it! I'll be back to help you later on. I think I hate the endings even more now with the EC taken at face value:sick:, so even if IT was not intended it has much more intelligence and ingenuity than this.
Hang in there;)

This. I see no reason why they would change their minds. It wasn't leaked in any script - otherwise we would've been discussing it.
I still think this is the case.
BTW - if anyone could perhaps compare that foilage picture with the foilage thats seen in the jungle planet at the end - if anything fits - that'd be great.
(Maybe through YouTube)

Because when he use the other 2 ending shepard is disintegrated? It would be hard to have a desintegrated shepard in a breathing scene, wouldnt it?

Well, last time, Control disintegrated your body and Synthesis ripped it to pieces so it could "spread the goods" as it were.
