Trolls, if you want to talk about how IT has been "debunked", I think there's a thread out there that's already discussing that. But this thread is for people who support IT, and since you obviously don't and aren't going to talk reasonably about it, please leave.
It is for discussion of IT, not an only IT group
You're right Sub - this thread is for discussion.
But the one-off "IT IS WRONG" posts are unnecessary. They don't add anything at all and take away from actual, good discussions and conversations.
I'm happy to discuss any topic. But you really can't engage in a discussion if the other parties' only answers are you're wrong, no, idiot, cult etc. And that's on both sides. For or against IT.
I'm not saying I don't have strong views, but I'm willing to consider any actual evidence.

Since IT is so obviously wrong, perhaps you could explain the infrasound near Major Coates and in the dreams, how Starbrat has Harbinger's voice in the Refusal ending, and how Shepard survives Harbinger's beam, which could demolish MAKOs in one hit? Please, enlighten us poor, delusional folk.
Infrasound? INFRASOUND!?! You're talking about a game where even the beginning and middle blow up the whole point of the first game, relegates the second to filler, is full of bad writing and you think BW left clues like that? Wow, and you're calling other people delusional? And why does Starbrat have Harby's voice? Cause they needed a voice actor. How did Shep survive the beam? The same way he survives the Citadel explosion. He's the friggin' hero and survives a million stupid things he shouldn't. You people are looking for clues in a soft science space opera that is a giant pile of movie hero tropes (let's have Shep jump through in air slo-mo one more time) as though they really gave any of this that much thought. Honestly, you ITers are being ridiculous.
So Cap, what you’re sayiing is that there is ABSOLUTELY no way that IT could be true? None at all, zero percent?
I believe that there is still a possibility (small – perhaps very small) that future DLC will introduce a Firebase Earth and ultimately a reveal that Shepard was resisting indoctrination and that that was Bioware’s plan all along. EC was just an attempt to keep the “surprise” a secret a little longer.
Now, you do not have to agree with me. But who are you to tell me that my thoughts on the matter are invalid? I can agree to disagree with you or anyone else. But that doesn’t make me crazy. That doesn’t make me part of some cult. I’ve looked at mountains of evidence which is circumstantial and I came to a conclusion different than yours.
Oh no! We’re different… When did different ideas, beliefs, etc become so offensive to other people? And people on both sides are guilty – but frankly, I see it more with the anti-IT’ers. Many of you are determined to force the IT folks into believing what you do. That’s not right at all. We don’t have to believe and you don’t have to change what you believe. But we have every right to continue to discuss this and consider the possibility that IT is still what was planned from the beginning.
And if not – well, it’s great fanfiction. Let us have our fun will you? Or is the idea of other people having fun offensive?
Thanks.
Sometimes it seems like *some* members of the anti-IT faction are personally offended that someone could believe that the endings weren’t literal.
I’m not offended that they disagree with me…

Strong views are fine. At least you show up here willing to discuss – sure it’s gotten heated at times, but that’s understandable.
I don’t think anyone on either side is stupid. And no one from either side should be saying that just because someone disagrees.

No you're right, let the evidence do the talking, and talk it will
What do you personally think is the most convincing piece of evidence for IT from the EC?

"I don't know if this has been discussed yet. But, WTH was that twitch Shepard did when Anderson radioed him after he flew out of the beam at the Citadel? There was a weird noise behind it too. I just finished playing and I can't get that out of my head."
Is there a video of that?
Sorry, I haven't seen any videos online for the EC beside just the endings, nothing before the star child. I'll keep looking though.

So, now that the EC is out will you nutjobs finally concede your delusional fanwank conspiracy theory only existed in your heads and will now finally seek some mental health treatment that you all desperately need?
Hey! Just cause I'm off my meds, it doesn't make me crazy. And I'll be damned if I'm going to let some talking waffle make me think any different.
But seriously, even if this is now fanfiction, can't you chill out and just let us have fun? This is a game we're talking about, it's supposed to be fun. Why can't we have our fun where (in our minds) Shepard was indoctrinated. Does that affect your fun somehow? If it does, then I think you're the one who should seek some help. If you believe in a literal ending, that really doesn't affect me in the slightest.

It's really hard for us nut jobs to spell correctly when we're constantly adjusting our tinfoil hats, looking over our shoulders and reciting the pledge of allegiance in Klingon.

I understand that a lot of the IT posts around here in the past had a smug true believer ring to them, but come on a statement like that's not really necessary...
I see a lot of IT people are saying to either move away if you don't like IT, or everybody is entitled to an opinion, or it could still work... All of that is perfectly valid. However, that also suggest that at this stage a lot of the discussion on this thread seems to be (consciously or no) the usual Internet desire not to be embarassed on a public forum. So really, does bullying the IT people really help? What do people expect, that IT followers will suddenly abjectly apologize, beat their chests and declare how incredibly smart everybody else was? Yeah, that's not how the Internet works.
Seriously, though... this is just community management failure. The whole IT theory thing clearly exploded beyond their capacity to handle.

After seeing all the new endings I can say it's better than what we had, but it's bit of a slap in the face that EA/ Bioware say all along how they listen to the fans, but don't even awknowledge IT after there's been so much arguing/ debating and speculation on the boards about it.
