 Still haven't played it.  Am looking forward to all that time spent in multiplayer paying off.  100% readiness and total EMS of over 10,000.  There's no way I could lose! 








Honestly, I think I'm going to choose the Refuse option.  

Repeatedly.

Along the way, I'll look for weird stuff.

They ought to have capped the Refuse ending with a custscene of a massive Yahg fleet bristling with heavy weaponry meeting the Reapers head on after summoning them from darkspace through the Citadel relay, a Yahg captain standing on the command deck of the flagship holding one of Liara's time capsules.  Cut to scenes of massed Yahg infantry with Cains all over the Citadel and countles Yahg dreadnoughts loosing volleys of improved thanix cannons and quantum singularity javelin missiles.  And then have the Stargazer relate that this time, the Reapers got their clocks cleaned.  And as the last Reaper died, the Yahg honored the memory of the Shepard.... as represented by a hacked version of the Shepard VI with Conrad Verner's face.

The EC was suppose to provide clarity and closure. It did that. I wouldn't have wanted a vague ending....Hell that's part of why the original endings were so hated.

Just like every single IT believers can still keep thinking that IT theory is still true when EC straight out ended the series with their official Epilogue.
I can still believe that the whole ME 1 ~ 3 are just a story made up by Conrad Verner whom is writing a book after meeting with the first Shepard.

And you can belive shepars is immune to indoctrination, survived a explosion stronger than the wake of a supernovae, that reapers are actually the nice guys, that harbinger just lost interest in shepard, shepard was overlooked during the repairs and takes a breath several years after the defeat of the reapers.

2) Common movie trope to have main villain "survive" a seemingly fatal explosion (I use the term "survive" loosely since we don't know Shepard's state at the end)

The ending of Inception is different. If IT proved to be true, it would alter the plot and focus of ME significantly, having far more reach than if the end of the movie is fake or not. It doesn't alter the themes for example

If you don't think IT would fundamentally change one's perception of the whole ME series,  I don't think you understand IT

IT enforces the entire ME series... taken literally its a slap in the face of the ME lore.

Good that you are accepting my point, IT and literal put a completely different spin on the series.

Art integrity is hallucination and not the ending XD. Sadly , because i had fun chat with u guys and read your theory. It was great and fun. U all contribute to create something Bioware didnt achieve on the final.
