Hmm people are complaining that the "Run towards beam" scene is now worst - in that you stop in order to save your crew and then keep running.

I kind of tend to agree..

Especially since the Normandy was fighting in orbit with Sword fleet, yet magically appears the instant you call for evac.

They replaced teleporting squadmates with teleporting starships.

Yes, I believe the line was "Normandy is rejoining Sword", not "Normandy will be standing by for evac".

And the fact that the reaper just seems to ignore it.....ehmm....hello?

I'd assume most realize now the IT is and has always been false. You could make the argument that "the EC didn't confirm nor deny the IT" but really the fact that it was ignored basically makes it false.

Just an FYI for all fans....

Apparently on the "refusal" ending, at the end you can hear Harbinger's voice. IGN made a comment that this might add some more support to the IT theory. I don't have to link, but you can check it out on their wiki.

So....

Anybody notice Shepard being revived by his synthetics?

Pay close attention to when he arrives in the hallway. He's out cold, but you hear a wierd synthetic sound that wakes him up.

Check again..../Garrus Voice

Bumping FTW!

ya that was wierd and I never scene Shepard do that before?

Shepard's mother was ignored.

Shepard's mother is false.

Clearly Shepard was spawned fully formed one day, and had no need for parents.

Its fun using literalist logic. :D

What truth? I see no truth in your statement. You know just as little as I do - since it was neither confirmed nor denied.

Except Shepard's mother has actually made an appearance in the series and has been acknowledged.

Okay, first off- the EC additions pretty much by face-value debunks Indoctrination Theory pretty big-time, and even the hint at the end by Bioware seem to indicate that it's over with what you see and whatnot. They gave us epilogue screens and whatnot.

The only thing that seemed to get my attention is how there seems to be abit more addition of noises and indiciations that something is amiss in the final scenes. I mean, it's pretty hilarious when I accidently (Testing out infact the hidden 4th option, which I had no idea about) that the Starchild literally screams in a Reaper-voice "THE CYCLE CONTINUES!"

She didnt make an appearance in the extended cut though. Clearly since they ignored her they feel she is no longer canon.

Shepard's mother, whose existence we can infer, doesn't alter the entire focus and events of the ME Trilogy tbf

Look if you want to seriously discuss this - please take your time to write an educated post on why you think IT has been debunked - pointing at the necessary segments.

If you "assume" just because BioWare have not said anything about it.
And I "assume" just because BioWare have not said anything about it - we won't get anywhere.

*sigh*

Note to self: Literalists take everything  literally. Even when I'm joking they legitimately try to argue against the literal interpretation of said joke.

But Commander we're so far awa....oh no here we are. Stupid.

Harbinger wasting grunts left and right, yet completely ignoring the Alliance frigate that just landed RIGHT IN FRONT OF HIM. Ugh........s...t...u...p...i...d.

Your reductio ad absurdum is fundamentally flawed that is all :)

And yet believing that comes easier to some than believing that the arguably biggest overarching subplot plays a hidden role in the ending.

You can also infer indoctrination symptoms, the dreams being the easiest one to acknowledge.

That's the beauty of interpretation: it can coexist with a literal outlook, which is entirely possible with the material present in this thread and the previous one.

They'd need an entire army of mods to keep that mess under control. At least we know theyre keeping an eye on this thread.
