I don't think the extended cut disproves IT or spits in its theoretical face...the clues are still there:

1. Trees at the beam in London, that just randomly grew out of the ground within 10 seconds and happen to look JUST like in your dreams

2. The strange architecture of the citadel that totally looks like the Shadow Broker ship...seriously?

3. HUGE ****ING BLACK TENTACLES REACHING INTO YOUR VISION!!! I don't know about you but I don't have that...yet, I'm not indoctrinated. And all this nonsense, the conversaion between the Illusive Man and Anderson, how the **** would he get there. And...And...And.....

I refuse to believe that ANY of it was real, I WANT to believe in the IT because THE **** it gives me closure on what happened. I have a vivit imagination, I'll think of possible outcomes myself instead of letting Bioware do that job that they are most certainly NOT qualified to do.

Even if IT wasn't what they originally went for, having heard all the anger from the fans...why not officially include it and feed us some more obvious hints? -______- WHY BIOWARE WHY???? *smashes head on keyboard*

D,: God I'm angry

I feel you...so much. BioWare is clearly out of touch. I wanted to believe they cared...I wanted to believe they had a plan...but, yeah..I was wrong. :crying:

I must have a pervese mind for thinking what I thought when I saw this

Not the response I was expecting lol

I just realized something. when the elevator activates after shepard passes out it goes up itnto the ceiling, but as this pic shows the crucible is connected to the bottom of the citadel tower not the top. never noticed that before, and it is another plothole.... Thoughts?

ive got plans to run a renegade shep through, but she's still in me2, so it'll be a while.

i had a paragon with high ems.

yes im quoting myself, but i'd like to know if there is anything to this, i recall seeing a tweet from someone fairly recently about how renegade and paragon can effect at least the control ending. so any speculations?

Guys, somebody found info for a DLC about the Leviathan of Dis... spoilers, obviously...

http://pastebin.com/rHzNDedX

Without spoiling too much, go to the bottom quarter and see something about the Leviathan of Dis that proves that Starbrat was lying about yet another thing....

I don't know that yet...and I don't wanna find out. I'll wait for people to upload different scenarios on youtube. I'm sick playing a game that diggs out so many amazing memories that I have attached to the Mass Effect universe that really move me to have all of that butchered by a crappy ending. I'm not that curious to torture myself like that :P

EC actually validates IT, even if only mockingly, by having StarChild break composure and reveal his true voice (A Reaper. . . Perhaps Harbinger?).

Otherwise, it's like a Jessica Merizan stated on Twitter: EC neither confirms/denies IT.

As long as ME3 exists, IT exists. If you like IT: "rejoice", if you hate IT: "deal with it". :P

I suppose that's the proper perspective.

Puts a disturbing spin on one of Gamble's comments though.

"How long did it take Ridley Scott to say "Yes, Deckard was a Replicant"? 20 years?" - Mike Gamble

That's a good point.  I remember when that was "Silly fan speculation" and now it's "fact".  Wonder if 20 years from now Bioware will give us a definite "yes" or "no"?

i was stating that YOU helped support IT and know you don't think it was wrong. did they say it was wrong no did they say ti was right no. all Bioware did was put clues in the new ending and some of the three endings about maybe IT is not a bad idea after all.

Yeah, but unfortunately this just makes me fear that all BW is planning on doing is dancing around the subject without ever actually giving us a definitive answer. I would not enjoy that. One of the reasons I've been so enthusiastic about these speculations was because I was expecting to get an answer eventually.

One single piece of info that makes IT harder to believe. Synthesis' Epilogue reveals Quarian faces. You can argue that he may know what Tali looks like if she's his LI, but Shepard has never seen a male Quarain without a mask.

And what if Tali was never your LI?

@Fellish, masster may not be a grammar expert but his take on the situation is just as insightful as anyone's, in this case.

It seems they've made it increasingly difficult to commit to IT now since they've abolished a number of the clues along the
way.  Shepard holding his side, whether or not it was all a
hallucination, whether or not it was all a ploy.

Space Kookie wrote...

And whats up with the conversaion between old man/ lady and little child? Anyone?

I guess by now we're supposed to assume they were from a cycle that would be hit by the reapers were it not for our efforts.  In one way or another we succeed and no future cycle is hit, be it because Shepard took control, turned everyone into happy-go-lucky cyborgs, or killed the **** out of the reapers, or Liara's capsule actually worked and people listened in the future.

Regardless it seems like this cycle is the last to get hit... and machines don't ever take over the future apparently.

I'm not sure if you're going for irony here, but "grammar" isn't a verb. You cannot grammar something.  Kinda kills your argument when you violate what you suggest someone else do along the way.

Hoh-lee-shiiiiit.

2 gigabytes.

Maybe designed for interconnectivity with future DLC?

No more DLC for the ending, because we already have it? We just can't unlock it yet?

i can respect that, having just gone through the ending 5 times, i tried retreating from the conduit, you fall over dead after a few feet and the four i mentioned above

just figured there might be someone who might have a different set up then I who could say if they noticed anything different to the paragon endings.

Fellish is just upset, and understandably so. In fact, I could go so far as to say that were I a younger version of myself, I would most likely be outwardly upset as well. But right now I'm still mostly trying to gather my thoughts and feelings on the issue.

I'd love to believe something is up. I'm biased and looking for reasons to stay here, of course, but the EC does not "feel" like 2 gigs or 3 months of development time. It feels like something they could have done in a month or less, assuming the music was already composed and recorded, and that probably would only take up around 800 megs, if that.

Keeping up with this thread is impossible...

Ahem.

Continuing my new and improved playthrough!  And I missed the Illusive Man's data entries about his implants!  Again!  Where the heck are those things...

Ah well.  Time for the new and improved Priority Earth.

Cue Starblazers music, please.

Heading off... to the Sol system... to recapture the Citadel... and saaave... the human raaaace.... MY SHEPARD!

Scouring the galaxy
We don't need those dumb Rachnee
Building up my War Assets
Renegades have no regrets!

To use the Crucible
To destroy or to control
Should we stop the Illusive Man
Or should we see his grand plan?

We'll attack the Reaper fleet
Once we're in there's no retreat
And then Hammer will clear the way
So the Reapers in London will pay because of MY SHEPARD!

Huh.  Where did that come from?

That's still an indirect answer. I dont want hint-hint nudge-nudge wink-wink answers. That's dancing around the subject, like I said. I want to know what happened, and get to play out the ensuing events or at least watch the ensuing events.
