Yep, and occurs the exact moment that Anderson starts to appear as "Admiral Anderson" in the subtitles.

BTW, does anyone else think that the new music is pretty awesome?
I could listen to the "Normandy Memorial"-track for days. Especially awesome if you think that they had very little time to compose the songs.

Yes.

...I should go.

Lol I have a cold. I'm keeping my replies short.

You know, I think I recognize that sound that you hear right after you get to the Citadel and Shepard wakes up. I'm pretty sure that it's the same sound that you heard in ME1 during the cuts between parts of the Prothean vision of Eden Prime. What does this mean? Well, I'll let you all decide for yourselves, and I'll see if I like any particular explanation. ;)

That certainly is more interpretation than I have to give for that sound. Weird as hell. But it seems to be a good guess.

Found any more sounds?

Well, the sound of the dripping blood (Or whatever the heck that stuff is.) in the entry hallway on the Citadel reminds me of the Reaper whispers a bit, but I think that would be stretching it.  Unless... could you hear the sound of dripping blood before?

The jolt awake after Shepard lands face-first into gore was new and... interesting.

See the top post of this developing pyramid. :D

Yes, but I went back and read it. High EMS destroy doesnt do any of those things.

Destroy doesnt go against my principles, because I do understand that there will be sacrifices in war. The geth knew that. EDI knew that. I'm not forcing anything on them that they didnt understand was a possibility.

I get the feeling that EDI and the Geth would be more than willing to sacrifice themselves if it meant destroying the Reapers.

Guys - how many of you really believe that the Citadel is the home of the Catalyst?
I know he says it - but people are seriously believing that.

It doesn't seem to make sense to me......gosh....am I really going to have to take the entire game literally?

And if BW really went for plugging the holes and wanted to give some bakground to the kid thusmaking the choices less awkward, then they fail. I'll never buy the first assumption (tech singularity, organics will be wiped out by organics inducing a forced hatred for the synthetics) on which he based his whole logic. All what he can say after that is BS for me.

I'll never play his game. That's why now my canon ending is the reject ending.

P:S: No problem ;).

Yup, now for me too.  This speech that Shepard gave us, alone stands tall above everything since conduit run. Even presuiading TIM was less epic. Try to find park0urfreak playlist of epic music and read/listen these words again. It will sound more epic then ever :D

There's still that weird draining of color from the entry hallway once you reach the chasm.

This is where, like I said before, Shepard's perception of things is warping, due to injuries, concussion, or Reaper manipulation.

weird...i still got STEEEEEVE!!!....you ok?

You did? Curious. Must be related to whether you did his mission or not then.

I didn't do his mission and still yelled STEEEEVE. Might depend on whether you're paragon or renegade.

Did anyone notice that if your teammates survive the run to the beam, they are seriously beaten up and bleeding but in a few minutes later they look better than ever. IT or is Chawkwas magic??

Yep, noticed it. Could be Chawkwas, since she restored Garrus in ME2 similarly well. After all, the squad didn't even seem to suffer from that big injuries.

Except we have no idea how long Garrus was out and the first time we see him after the hit I seem to recall he is still wearing a white patch thing where he took the hit.

Here we are talking litterally minutes for more than one person.

That's the question...how much time has passed. Also, Anderson's and Shepard's death seems to be quite the certainty for them. So enough time to be sure that everyone is dead...nice friends.

Interesting find. Definitely the same sound, or at least very similar. I don't know exactly what it could mean, but at the very least it shows that something is up, and that what you experience from that point onward might not be all real.

It's weird, I'm noticing far MORE Ashleys and far FEWER Kaidans on the Citadel now.

Although this one is probably just me.

No, as I said to SubAstris, the "catalyst" is simply a Reaper PR manager, likely a Reaper himself and most likely Harbinger. The true Catalyst is the Citadel because in all three endings (I'm ignoring Refuse) the "catalyst" is fundamentally changed or out of the picture entirely. The Citadel never changes.

You know, the Destroy ending makes sense to me now - I guess the tubes you're shooting are the Catalyst's mainframe, the collected consciousness of the Reapers, and by destroying it you disable them.

Deciding if you trust the Catalyst or not, with the EC, has become the most central question for me. What a wonderful experience that was in the decision chamber! Love it! ^_^

Does femshep even yell Steve? In all my playthroughs I've never heard her yell it, I just see a subtitle telling me she has done so. Even though I have subtitles turned off.

Huh, I was looking in that low EMS Destroy, and the helmet they find isn't Shepard's. It's a generic Alliance Marine helmet. Also, I'm replaying the endings again, and I'm fairly certain that the helmet that the Keeper picks up on the Citadel is NOT a generic Alliance Marine helmet. I don't see the Alliance symbol on it. Could it be Shepard's helmet? ;)

Huh, I haven't seen the keeper in that ending yet.
Also this probably isn't nearly as interesting, but it seems like Mr. Vega in the Synthesis ending isn't having any of glowy eyes crap. He's still got the new glowy skin, though.

I just noticed something else weird. The walls on the side of the chasm opposite the entry hall don't get bullet holes when you shoot them. Also, anyone else find it weird that the view bob disappears after Shepard gets on the Citadel? I mean, it seems kind of unnecessary don't ya think? I know this isn't new, but I just thought it was weird.

When I talk about the helmet that the Keeper picks up, I'm refering the the Keeper that you see right when you get onto the Citadel after the beam.

I'll say it again:

Let us have our fanfaction.

Does it really impact your fun that we believe differently?

As long as you admit that it's fan fiction, I don't think anyone would have a problem with it.  My issue with the IT crowd was always that it contradicted the facts that were on the screen and had a religious zealot type following (i.e. "How do you know that he's really in the Citadel?")  I choose to look at what is on the screen and accept that.  I have no problem with you doing otherwise as long as you freely admit that's what you're doing.  By saying that your version is still correct with now an entire DLC to prove otherwise, you insult those who choose to accept what was on the screen.

To me, IT is similar to that guy who wrote a novel-length blog post about the endings of the Sopranos to "prove" that Tony died.  Sure, there are some interesting connections/imagery and it's fun to overanalyze.  However, the EC was the equivalent of David Chase saying "Tony lives."

okay, we get it. shut up. you're being counter-productive and just repeating yourself now.

I'm sorry you feel that way but how am I being counter productive?  That was my first post today so I wasn't "repeating" myself.  I think it's a fair point: as long as you admit that you're exchanging rationality for fan fic, we have no problems.

The alliance helmet is the helmet from london's resistance ground forces.

OK, I know I said that I was going to take a break, but I had a thought. Remember how people were SO upset that there was only ONE way to break free of indoctrination while there were TWO ways to succumb to it? Well, maybe Rejection was added as a second way of breaking free. That way, two unindoctrinated endings, and two indoctrinated endings. Any thoughts?

Well I feel Desroy was the best one of all of them, because it gave everyone hope to choose their lives. In Synthesis or Control you impose those decisions on the rest of the galaxy. Reject I feel is counter productive. Cause Michael Gamble replied that the next cycle uses the crucible anyway, so what was the point of refusing it??

Wait Liara said that the Crucible didn't work so that means the refuse option is just a hallucination to get Shepard for refusing their offer and you know what the next cycle used the crucible and they probable picked destroy or a nother choices that we don't have yet.
