Depending on how good it looks, and the general plot line revealed in said trailer, I will be one of the first to apologize ... if necessary. Don't hold your breath though. We are likely to get a live action Halo film before that happens...

But guys even if Hackett confers that Anderson is dead then why is it that at the end your squad is almost about to put on Shepard's name on the wall, if Shepard did survive. But jugging from their expressions they really thought Shepard died. And you know what's funny not once did Hackett ever mention anything about Shepard not even once was their a thank you to Shepard alone just for Shepard. And it's also very interesting that Shepard is show breathing right after the Normandy leaves you would think that after a while Hacker could have told the crew of the Normandy that Shepard did not make it after clearing the derbies on the Citadel .
Sure, but that doesn't seem like that big of a problem to me. One could speculate, that Shepard decided to live an anonymous life. And not everyone recognizes Shep's face, just recall those two from the Citadel on the Presidium: "Who was that?"

What do you mean?
In Destroy, the nameplate does not go up on the wall. Liara just holds it.

Here's my thoughts, EC clarifies all of the stuff on the citadel itself, I am totally fine with that being real now that they clarified lots of the plotholes. HOWEVER, as you crawl towards the panel, I believe Shep succumbs to the effects and the whole starchild sequence is Introspective. With the EC, Starchild even talks like Harbinger when you choose refusal. That right there raises some red flags.
I like to think that as you approach the panel, Harby makes one last push to control your brain, Destroy is the right decision and the endings you get is real, Control and Synthesis are trickery, either to make everyone huskified or make Shep the new Harbinger, for good or for worse. And Refusal is you doing away with yourself like Saren or IM since you cannot make either decision (If you blow your head off, the citadel doesn't activate and the cycle continues.)
This is only my opinion and what I take away from it, but it gives me satisfaction and closure to a series that has given me nothing but good times for as long as I've played it.

But not really that big of a cliffhanger like the one pre-EC.
And I'm calling it out: Bioware knows that

Months of silence? Pshht. I know I don't plan on going quiet. I'm going to do what Bioware wanted.
Speculate.
And with Single Player DLC coming in regularly, we have plenty to speculate about.
I'm willing to bet you there will be some interconnectivity with the endings and the DLC. Maybe the ,more we get, the better the chance "Refuse" has of succeeding.
Who knows?

The breath came after that. And they're still on Lost at that point. The last they saw of Shepard was her/him getting hit by Harbinger, followed by the wave from the Crucible and the damage done to the Citadel with Shepard on it. They can pretty much assume Shep's dead. That breath scene still doesn't make sense taking the endings literally, though...I guess we're supposed to assume that's really the Citadel, despite it looking like London?Spartas Husky wrote...

I love the theory, and I REALLY like the extended cut. I was one of the folks who was thinking Indoctrination through my whole first playthrough (way before it became so widespread) just from the amount of exposition it got. Even if that was not BW's intention, that's just what I picked up through the whole game with all of the dreams and small talk with crewmates who ask stuff like "Are you feeling alright" and the like.
Here's my thoughts, EC clarifies all of the stuff on the citadel itself, I am totally fine with that being real now that they clarified lots of the plotholes. Careful there, we don't really know if that's Harbinger or not. From the face-value (btw, this phrase has been restored now), he's just 'a' Reaper, since they are his creation.
Why is SO BE IT suicide? (If I got you correctly)

Kidding. I'm not sure. It doesn't matter where it was though, they would've found Shepard regardless. It's not like they're just going to completely abandon Earth.

The reapers don't acknowledge the normandy or Shepard during it and Shepard's even arguing with her squadmates and LI to leave. Hm. Maybe it's just me.
