I'm hoping for ME4 to be Shepards final fight against Harby and His Friends.

I seriously don't understand people. Some of the same people that were furious about the ending and were like "Joker and the crew would never abandon Shepard!" are claiming that they're tearing up now, even though the only thing that's been added is Hackett saying get to the rendezvous point. I mean wasn't that what you could have assumed happened anyway? I'm baffled at all the people that love the ec taken at face value.
Somehow I have a hard time imagining anyone onboard the Normandy abandoning Shep, not just Joker.
The funny thing is, they all had an opportunity to back Shepard up at the very end. But they all flew away, with Joker.
Yeah, Joker's "damn" at the end really wasn't convincing to. At all.
Shepard wasn't the legend, the Normandy was. And he lead it. The legend should have died together, not left Shepard by himself.
I would have preferred an ending where Shepard and his whole crew die together stopping the Reapers, and them being remembered as a whole. Shepard was exceptional, but he was nothing without his team.

Ok, thinking about the new ending scenes more. It feels like BW put all the things the "lovers" of each literal ending choice wanted or headcanoned. Control = rebuild the relays! Synthesis = peace & harmony. Destroy = Defeat the reapers/Shepard's original goal. And to me destroy is not realistic, it's more of a dream. If they were being realistic they should have shown us the geth being deactivated, Joker grieving EDI, the inevitable rise of synthetics.
It's almost like BW just extended their indoctrination dream for them.
Ok, just random my thoughts right now.

Hey guys! Been busy today, so I have missed A LOT.
Can someone compile a list of any new evidence discovered from the EC? I've heard a few things, but if one of you could make a summary list, I would be really appreciative. Anything and everything from the EC that could be further 'hints' at the IT.
Thank you!
We have discussed:
-Sounds like Harbinger is saying "serve us" before Shep gets blasted with beam. www.youtube.com/watch
-Male/Female Shep voices sound more obvious in Starbinger's voice
-Mass relay explosion chain is still wrong in the EC
-Normandy picking up squad doesn't make a whole lot of sense, Harbinger is staring at Shep/Normandy during this, is not firing lasers.
-Much speculation on the Refuse choice.

say though that you have very low ems and destroyed the collector base. why would the catalyst give you the option it's obvious that you don't deserve to win.DiebytheSword wrote...

My personal biggest new question is:
If you choose reject, the Reapers win conventionally, therefore the Reapers can win conventionally. Why even offer Shepard any options if winning conventionally is still fully possible? Shepard is completely vulnerable and Starchild doesn't need to explain anything to Shepard regardless...
Great point...wish I had an answer for you.
Simpler than it seems, the Crucible forces the Catalyst to discharge the energy of the crucible and end its rampage, it changes the Catalyst, alters its programming to end the cycle and offer a new solution to its problem. A more interesting question is how someone figured out how to hack the reapers, which is essentially the first part of what the crucible does.
Still, the Crucible only forces this change and actuates it, the choice must come from those using it, apparently, as the Catalyst defaults to its old solution if ignored.
Shepards collection of EMS, his resultant show of resolve, shapes what the Catalyst/GUARDIAN is willing to show as new solutions.
I think IT is an interesting theory, but I don't believe it was ever intended. That said, there's no reason to stifle discussion about it. Ultimately, the people anxiously awaiting for a future ME title or DLC confirming this theory will most likely be very disappointed.Logan Cloud wrote...
It's over now. Move on. Do something productive. Even if you're not happy, tough luck, it's not getting changed.
Now we wait for this horrible thread to fade away. Or we wait for KING to get it locked again, like he did with the Indoctrination Theory Mark I.
Now THAT was a good day.

Upset you say? Why no my good man. I'm but a humble young man, poking my head into these threads, and wondering what in God's name you people could still be talking about.

Angry Joe... Sigh.
Love how he keeps saying 'fixed', even when its blantantly not.
Never heard of him before ME3, loved his videos on that, but now I'm realizing he might not be the sharpets tool in the shed. He sounded like he was getting paid to say that -.-

The entire concept of it is just disgusting. And insulting.

alright, ladies and gentleman, I'm off to finally go play Dawnguard.

>.< I hate you. I have Skyrim on PC and can't even touch Dawnguard for a month or more. We don't even have a release date.
I'm REALLY excited for Dawnguard. On the plus side, at least I can kill mother****ers while on my horse now.
My only real complaint regarding Dawnguard is lack of being able to marry a certain NPC. They build up a romance but then do nothing with it.

Yep, anyone thinking that the new Synthesis ending provides satisfying closure needs to go back to reading teenage fiction.

they essentially put sprinkles on the poop that was the original ending. you can pick out the parts you like, just like you can pick out the sprinkles from the poop. but you're still eating sprinkles off of poop.
