The idea is still viable in the spectrum of interpretation, but temper your expectations.
Well, I would lie if I said that mod message doesn't upset me a bit. But, if IT's predictions are correct, then they will have to comment on it in some way to actually end the war with the Reapers.
That's a fact.

I really don't think its possible for a theory such as IT to be purely due to chance..There are waaaaay too many tiny details that support IT that can only have been put there deliberately. Eg- ashley/kaiden bodies piled up, the oily images in the dreams, the fact the starchild is the same as the Earth child etc

Masster blaster, there is literally no one stupid enough to go "I no longer believed in IT, but then Paxxton pointed out that godchild used the word 'it' and now I believe again!"

Sorry Byne, the bag would fall at the same rate. Part of the reason Shepard didn't die (kind of) before is because that planet's atmosphere is thin (little friction) and it had low gravity (Shepard would fall slower and friction would be reduced even more).byne wrote...

The citadel is clearly damaged badly after destroy, but the damage is abled to be repaired, so I believe that the higher EMS means the crucible was in better shape, which means the blast is more controlled. A more controlled blast allows shepard to ride a piece of the rubble back to earth. It may sound a bit far fetched, but this is the guy who was revived after dieing.
Right. And she died due to what? Oh right! Reentry to a planet's atmosphere! And at that time she was wearing fully intact armor and not injured in anyway.
'Riding' a piece of rubble doesnt even make sense. It'd still be falling super fast when it hit the ground. Its not like space metal falls at the same rate of speed as an empty plastic bag.
due to air resistance, they DO NOT fall at same rate.

I'm going to be real... IT is still an amazing interpretation, the one that I will always believe, but the hope that Bioware will ever embrace it died with the E.C..

I don't see why you guys are being so hard on paxxton. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. You guys are being no better than the literalists who call you stupid for your ideas. Why doesn't his idea have as much merit as yours, who decides that, you? If you disagree that's fine I do too but saying he looks stupid is too far.
IT has conclusive evidence. harbinger saying the word "it" is not conclusive in any way.

LOL. Do you see!? The Catalyst says "So be it." !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Maybe it's a message from BioWare, a hint !!!!!!!!!!!!!! They are considering IT and wink to the IT community by playing with words. Plus, the Rejection option was clearly added based on fan feedback. Proof: shooting the Catalyst was viral on BSN in March.
BioWare added the Rejection option in the EC because they see the potential in IT but to not give it away completely they camouflaged it in the Catalyst's short answer. Adding the bassy voice further distracts the player from the actual meaning because you concentrate on the sudden change in his voice rather than on discovering what it might mean that he says.
The most obvious things are always the easiest to miss. "So be IT."
Oh, my God, you did it. Not particularly you, mind you, but someone. You actually used the pronoun "it" in the sentence "So be it" as evidence in support of IT? Please tell me that is not so.

Your saying if somebody says "it" that is winking at the IT community.
"So be it" is just his reaction to shepard not picking anything.
Come on, listen to yourself. Out of all the possible responses they can make for a REAPER-VOICE CHANGE, it's a three-word liner, and it ends with an IT (Indoctrination Theory)
There's literally millions of possible other replies he could have made, and ironically it does end with the popular Indoctrination Theory, with also the Reaper-voice, which is hinted that the Starchild is not what he appears to be. The fact there's a sudden voice-change means that he could have talked with Shepard with that voice, but that wouldn't be very persuasive would it? Infact, all he's doing is putting up a charade to smooth-talk Shepard into what he actually desires.
Come on.
