No.  Firstly I don't know who that is.  Secondly IT doesn't require post-ending DLC.  And thirdly I take whatever people claiming to know what's coming with a massive grain of salt based on previous things said that were untrue.  And lastly I have to ask why Bioware would EVER spoil what's coming up next, because admitting nothing is coming after the ending would ruin potential for the future DLC's sales.

So no.  Not in the slightest.

Well if you take this all at face value, that's fine.

But the fact is, the question was never answered and more hints were thrown to support a non-literal ending.

So whoever this guy is, I don't much care.  They said they were leaving it open to interpretation, and they did.  So why would they then send someone who isn't well known to declare otherwise?  They wouldn't.

Not unless you think Bioware is REALLY stupid.

Yeah sorry for not saying what it is. It's Geth Prime dialogue (though clearly legion's VA Posted Image) that was cut from the end. This implies a lot of things, including the fact that they were going to have the Prime there as well as Tali. Why they removed it is beyond me, unless you know they didn't want us to think organics could ever live with synthetics and buy into starkid's logic. Synergy when we are in consensus.

The combat dialogue pisses me off the most though. Because it means they were also going to have scenes with Quarians and Geth fighting Reapers. Here are some more examples if you're interested.

you're right. I was about to say something to the effect of I don't know how you do it but then I thought that would sound way too much like shepard's squadmates throughout mass effect 3.  lol that would be a funny convo. its Tully Ackland, a dev from bioware. notice the official bioware mark on his profile. all the devs are saying they made the EC the way they did because they want us to imagine our own endings. as stupid as that sounds (because it is), its true, check jessica merizans twitter (another dev, im assuming you havent heard of her)
they WILL release other dlc. thats pretty much garunteed. but, it will take place before the ending unfortunately. i would pay almost any amount to see an after ending dlc, but unfortunalely i dont think it will happen. of course i have hope, but the link i posted says otherwise

There's an audio file in the EC with Anderson's voice saying that with the firepower the Reapers have they coould simply wipe organics out. Then he asks what do they want.

As for the Legion Prime audio, the additional recordings are probably for a future DLC.

Yeah, I've yet to see a professional scriptwriter say, "you go ahead and imagine your endings yourself".

Yes, there are endings like LOST's, Sopranos (thank god they didn't do that one), Mulholland Drive, Blade Runner...

With the EC they nearly managed to do a Blade Runner, but IT (in some varieties) doesn't allow a too ambiguous ending, simply because we were promised an ending to the war.

So IT is a very special kind of 'arty' ending, as in, it's nature doesn't allow it, as it would just leave the ending hanging. The original ending somehow did this. The EC however...

This EC is actually strange, because they altered the ending so much (not THAT much, but still a lot) that it makes me question the purpose of the original ending...
was it a test?

Seriously, do BioWare think they're being clever here? Do they think they're doing something really brilliant that we just don't understand? Because from where I'm sat, stringing fans along with endless ambiguous little clues and coy little "oh, did you see that? WINKY SMILEY" statements, to then come along and stomp on it all with a sweeping "no more ending DLC" the very next day is just flat out bullSH!T.

Are they honestly trying to ****** us all off? Because I just don't get it. From the day the game came out and the garbage endings were revealed, I just haven't understood what their gameplan is. It seems to be "let's dick around with our fans' heads for a while, see how long they put up with it." Coming out with those smug little teases, like "don't delete your saves!" and "did you notice that about the Destroy ending?"

I just don't get it. Ambiguity can go suck my dick. Just give us an answer, tell us, straight up, what the deal is. No-one wants all this "clever" "artistic" gob****e. Because it's not clever or artistic. It's cruel to string us all along like this. No-one likes it.

im using dev loosely, she was one of the people using the gamertags BioWareDev(1-11) during Xbox LIVEs game with fame night. either way, her statements obviously represent those of the bioware team

Just like those times when we didn't have a Geth Squadmate, a Prothean Squadmate, we didn't need to play MP to get the best endings, and when we got wildly divergent endings based on our choices.

I like Tully, he's a cool dude, but even if he were telling the truth as it stands now, nothing, absolutely nothing, stops the producers from going back on those words should plans change from what they've told others.  Tully is a community coordinator, not part of the decision makers in development.

Oh, and my friend (who's not played ME3) thinks Harbinger says 'This one is powerful' right before saying 'join us' or 'serve us' (she isn't sure which).

Which is interesting, I can kind of hear it too if I try. Its really garbled though, as if Bioware didn't want it to be clear :P

but, this is multiple devs saying, "no. this is final. just think the rest." they leave the possibility open by saying they have nothing planned, but lets be honest, that cant mean very much.
