Oh, I'd definitely play a game centered on Shepard pulling him/herself out of indoctrination hell. I imagine it being kinda like Mass Effect's version of The Fade.

How come I enjoyed the EC immensely while so many didn't?
If not pleasing everyone as good as possible, what did the EC do wrong?
If you don't agree with the 'literal' endings, then look at the gazillion, polished hints for IT. If you don't agree with IT, then try to explain the 'literal' endings with the nice logic provided by the Catalyst.
To me, the EC made both of my sides happy: the IT sceptic and the literal sceptic. They baked a cake with all flavours for everyone to, unlike the Crucible, not discriminate anyone. And people are complaining how no one got a full cake of their own.
Or, that's my opinion. I think everybody should be pleased to some level.
You're not alone there.
I enjoyed seeing the visualizations of the other endings (for morbid curiosity's sake, I relished seeing their idea of Reaper-God Controller Shepard and Utopian Synthesis), as well as the added refusal and the catalyst's justification. And the core outlook I've developed since March remains, with a few natural tweaks that accompany the tweaks to the ending. They played their hand well, and they added just enough weirdness and core, real clues to strengthen certain interpretations and speculation.
Not perfect, but well done.
Yeah, this! I also think the EC 'cleaned the room' so that some real speculatin' can be done. I found a lot of material to speculate on.

Now do you REALLY think they would do that? I mean, they even revised the credits to include the voice actress of the Female Stargazer. Do you REALLY think they would just forget to include the Catalyst?

I am in agreement with you, if they are deliberately stretching out the conclusion to Shepard's story then there can be only one reason for that, extra dosh(pay for the next sub episode), that will irritate me no end, ME3 was stated as being the final chapter in Shepard's story, anything beyond just makes it silly and reduces and takes away from their epic flagship game.HellishFiend wrote...

Mark my words, Bioware will not forever leave the current thematic disasters referred to as "endings" as they are. They would lose a lot of players that actually play BW games for the story. Including me.
Sure they could technically leave it the way it is, but I would no longer be a part of their target audience, and as such, would no longer consume their future products.

This implies a lot of things, including the fact that they were going to have the Prime there as well as Tali. Why they removed it is beyond me, unless you know they didn't want us to think organics could ever live with synthetics and buy into starkid's logic. Synergy when we are in consensus.
The combat dialogue pisses me off the most though. Because it means they were also going to have scenes with Quarians and Geth fighting Reapers. Here are some more examples if you're interested.

My first thought was, it was an evolution from an asari & turian: The head tenticles were too long for a pure asari and the body too 'soft' for a pure turian.

Conrad: So what's the code like?
Samara: It is longer than an entire set of human encyclopedias and addresses every situation conceivable.
Conrad: Wow! Okay, what if like, someone fused synthetic and organics into a single DNA, making everyone in the galaxy a new hybrid of the two?
Samara: Conrad, I am nearly one thousand years old and that is the stupidest thing I have heard in my life.

They purposely didn't acnowledge the ending cause:
1- Speculations = hype = money.
2- If they catered to one side, the other would be angry. (This point illustrates that they have yet to prove or disprove)
3- They possibly proved both were right. Explained in WNT: EC (Also still need opinions on thread. It's too silent.)
4- They won't continue after the endings for the point of 1 and 2. Instead they will make before ending dlc that will provide excellent story, gameplay, and hints towards the endings making it a must buy by the Mass Effect fanbase.

I think she's asari because they can mate with anything and reproduce. They also live for a long enough time to repopulate. A few hold outs are enough to repopulate the galaxy. Memories are also passed down from generation to generation so the reapers are a fresh thought in their minds. Liara's capsule, which requires little decrypting helps tha cycle fight them off.
