Has anyone pointed out that the stargazer scene is a stolen art image from a metal band? The art was used on their song on youtube uploaded before me3 cameout. The song is titled "starchild" and the lyrics are about indoctrination.
Wait! What? Have you got a link?
The image is an image from deviantArt and added by the one who uploaded the video. This is the original album art:
Not a bad album. I've had it for a few years now, lol.
Though I would think Stargazer from Blood Stain Child is much more fitting. (The lyrics, not the art that is.)
So apparently this song was being composed between 2000 and 2003 and released in 2004. How the hell could this all be a coincidence. A song called StarChild that comes from an album called WinterSun and all this predates not only Mass Effect 3 but Mass Effect as a series, oh and than there's the songs lyrics... far out.
[Part I (Wanderer of Time)]
So mysterious is your world, concealed beyond the stars Far away from the earth, it flows one with time and dark as the night Million shapes and colours are storming inside your mind Creating endless dimensions Forming universes without walls
Let go! of the stars, the stars that fell into the sea Let go! of your thoughts and dreams, what can you see now
You cannot save them anymore - Wanderer of time - It's too late now - Creator of Dimensions - Destroy the walls of time Hands of the blind are holding your fate Tides of life will take you away, will take you away
Starchild! Visions are born from the unknown force It dominates the way of time The dream only ends, when the worlds come to an end Starchild! You cannot escape to the dark streams of the sea, to suppress your dreams Nothing can keep you away from the need to create 'cause your path is free...
[Part II (Buring Star)]
I've hold the fire within myself Years I've walked in the coldest winds Through the deserts of sand and snow The time is passing and I know, that I'm wasting my life, destroying my dreams I'm diving into the bottomless sea From sorrow and pain I find my strength the more pain I feel, the more I see Now I'm watching my life flowing in the dark like streams of fear running through my heart And it's wearing me down until I'm gone Soon I'll join the endless whirls of stars And I fall deeper into the unknown voids Something is dying, yet something is born And I fall into infinity like a burning star When will I find my silent dawn I fall like a burning star!
[Part III (The Creation)]
The curtains of mist are fading and the veils of star clouds are revealed Storms of new energy flows in the depths of my mind New constellations are born in total harmony of perfection And the dissonant unbalance was broken as the colours fell straight from the light
[Part IV (The Sea of Stars)]
I'm floating in the sea of stars, I'm drifting away from the shore I will be lost in the dream when the dark days come But I will make the time run backwards and I'll make the stars shine again I will light up the sky to a bright crimson nights ... And they'll shine together forever With brilliant silver colours they'll shine forever
[Part V (Finale)]
The whirls of stars takes you now far away away from the cold nightmare Let go of you thoughts and dreams and you will feel the warmth once again Starchild! in the Sea of Stars you fall You fall like a burning star! Starchild! in the Sea of Stars you fall ... But there is no end to creation

Okay, that makes a lot more sense. It's actually kind of cool that BioWare wrote themselves an excuse to dismiss that as an option, as well. Though it does seem silly that if a few Turians could do it, the combined minds of the galaxy couldn't. But stranger things have happened.
I think a line has to be drawn. If we started ramming ships into Reapers I think it could lead to things getting ridiculous, but that's just my take on it.
A few turians? There's no telling what technological genius was involved with Facinus. It may not have even been Facinus. It's possible that they got help from the Reapers via an indoctrinated agent who was told how to do it. Make the turians exhaust some of their military power on themselves before the invasion.
Ridiculous? Oh, yeah, you're right. We should stick with this Starbinger thing. Wouldn't want things to get ridiculous now by involving real military strategy. *eyeroll*
... Oh, we're back to that song thing now? I should go.

*snip*
If it predates Mass Effect, BioWare likely knew about it during the development process. I would be surprised if Mass Effect 3 predated the song several years.
Ah yes, 2000-2004, the time songs were longer then 3 minutes and lyrics didn't repeat every two lines... good times.
In a perfect world it would still be this way, but sadly today points (re: cash) are awarded to those who are uncreative, untalented and uninspiring carbon copies of fundamental money making formulas.

While true, epic lol's if you guys think that's only in the past decade or so.
inb4 someone without a "Bioware" tag tries to play topic police
So I'm going to bring this up again and again until it gets picked up. =P
Did anyone notice they changed the model of the London beacon structure to have these curvy parts that look exactly like the one we found in the breath scene?

That is huge for IT.
Proof? Images? What's the London beacon structure?

I don't have images (I'm on 360), but it was the first thing I noticed when playing the EC.
You know, the beam structure in London when you do the final run, it consists of these 'pillars' that are standing up. There's four tall ones (outer circle) and four smaller ones (the inner circle where the actual beam is).
I couldn't help but notice the inner 'pillars' suddenly have this 'curvy' texture, like the ones used on Object Rho, and it looks exactly like that object in the background in the breath scene.
Someone needs to get some comparison shots before/after EC, I'm pretty sure it's different. I'm trying to look for images, but it's hard.

why would bioware name the texture for the plants on the jungle planet "dream foliage" if it WASN'T A DREAM. It seems every hint they take away they put another one in. : /
I'm actually 100% sure they changed it. I have a wallpaper of the beam approach on my desktop, and the old texture just looks like a stone pillar, not at all what it looks like now in the EC, which is really that 'Reapery' texture.
So I'm going to bring this up again and again until it gets picked up. =P

What curvy parts?
That metallic circle.
No the circle around it was there before.
uhh this doesn't look good. I may be seeing things but it certainly looks like those mysterious piles of bodies are now already there before shepard gets hit now with the lazer...
