I don't have images (I'm on 360), but it was the first thing I noticed when playing the EC.

You know, the beam structure in London when you do the final run, it consists of these 'pillars' that are standing up. There's four tall ones (outer circle) and four smaller ones (the inner circle where the actual beam is).

I couldn't help but notice the inner 'pillars' suddenly have this 'curvy' texture, like the ones used on Object Rho, and it looks exactly like that object in the background in the breath scene.

Someone needs to get some comparison shots before/after EC, I'm pretty sure it's different. I'm trying to look for images, but it's hard.

No, nothing has changed.

So I'm going to bring this up again and again until it gets picked up. =P

Did anyone notice they changed the model of the London beacon structure to have these curvy parts that look exactly like the one we found in the breath scene?

That is huge for IT.

What curvy parts?

That metallic circle.

No the circle around it was there before.

uhh this doesn't look good. I may be seeing things but it certainly looks like those mysterious piles of bodies are now already there before shepard gets hit now with the lazer...

They are, if you believed until now they weren't then you've been fooled by this it "documentary".

I'm pretty sure this did not look like that before.

Sorry if I'm mistaken, I just need confirmation for this.

Rightclick -> view image. It's big enough to easily see it. You can also save them and zoom in.

I did that, it's too far away.

But yeah, I could be mistaken. Just need a more close-up image to be sure.

Remember that whole gun as a symbol thing?  In the reject ending if you shoot the catalyst, Shepard holds onto his gun.  If you choose it with the dialog option you don't have your gun, but you also don't obviously drop it like in control and synthesis.

Shoot the catalyst:

Verbal reject:

the bodies were there before...sonuva.. ok alright, literalists get a point. there's still PLENTY of strange stuff to go around, what about the trees and shrubs from the nightmares

and come to think of it what did the nightmares mean then if they weren't indoctrination attempts? because if I take the endings at face value then the nightmares meant absolutely nothing. they were just there for dramatic effect, no story element whatsoever.

As with some other cutscenes the gun is just invisible, it's actually still in her hand.

Trees and shrubs are placed after getting hit by Harby.

I've come up with names for a city built in honor of Commander Shepard, the man who sacrificed his future so that the many could have their own. Shepopolis or Shepton.

A name for a town could be Shepard Falls.

Hehe not really, that red lighting is coming from a nearby fire or something. She's still quite pale :P

For me it's more interesting that it seems they changed a bit on the level of how much right clicking zooms for the Vindicator.

Something occurred to me again seeing those pictures;

Doesn't the Conduit Beam (the shiny Reaper beam) look almost too similar to the Crucibles Beam?

It also has the same connotations; I'm almost certain that it's mentioned the Beam is designed to beam organics aboard so they can be harvested, so if you jump into it, you will become Reaperificated (organic-synth hybrid) - This sounds a lot like Synthesis to me. The Reapers think they are the pinnacle of evolution. The Geth think a collective consciousness is the pinnacle of evolution. The Cataylst bangs on about synthesis being perfect.

It's. The. Same. Beam.

Mind = blown?

That idea was actually a big part of Arian's EC script.

It's also why I believe symbolically shooting to the right side of the Beam (at the "Destroy" conduit) is actually breaking free and taking a shot at Harbinger, who was hovering there last time you checked.

Has anyone pointed out that the stargazer scene is a stolen art image from a metal band? The art was used on their song on youtube uploaded before me3 cameout. The song is titled "starchild" and the lyrics are about indoctrination.

Wait! What? Have you got a link?

www.youtube.com/watch
Edit: ^ The song + lyrics and the deviant art image

I really think it's just a matter of interpretation. But it's a nice coincidence.

Take this song for example :
Read the lyrics and think about indoctrination. (And also listen to the drums. Danny Carey is the man)

Now regarding IT, it's fun to see how they modified a few things. I guess you all heard Harbinger before the beam, the strange sound when Shepard arrives on the Citadel and what the child says. But correct me if I'm wrong, it seems they modified a few things with the piles of bodies, and the way we see things is different.... like they changed the FOV or something.

What does an invisible gun symbolize?

How about nothing as it's occuring in random parts of the game? The more important question would be why she has a gun to begin with.

Is it Chekov's Gun?

You are given a Gun in the final scenes, therefore absolutely the only thing to do is to use it (as in, Destroy)

You know, I just heard someone compare the Paragon Control Ending to Shepard becoming Space Batman. Only problem with that is Batman doesn't scare the crap out of m... wait, come to think of it, he kind of DOES. Never mind.

You would expect the new Guardian to be like Shepard in the Control ending. He has become the Shepherd of the Universe after all. Posted Image
