I honestly think the "squadmates getting out at the end" the first time around was either a "something's not right here" clue or something that slipped through QA...

But it was one of the major things that people complained about, so they had to come up with a contrived reason to explain it to make it fit a literal interpretation of the endings...

While it does open some IT-shaped plotholes, I think it's more a case of "pulling plot twist from arse"...

So does the Extended Cut make the whole concept of Indoctrination pointless? I mean why have the lore in the game, if @ the end of the day it was pretty much rendered useless and fighting Saren and Indoctrinated enemies is a big massive plot hole.

The "-us" really sounds like only a sideeffect of all the effects on the voice though.

That's not a "sh", that's a "s-ye" (try and follow a short "s" with a "ye" sound) to my ears

just a bit...i mean in both the paragon and renegade versions. its all might makes right and booyah imma reaper god, dont get in my way!

Does anyone have the sound file for the weird noise when shepard wakes up on the citadel? I'd love to go through that for a bit. Had enough "Shepard" "Cerberus" "server us" and "save us" for today

edit: also, the helmet at 3:08 is that a standard aliance helmet? It's the same one we see in that part where we see everybody who died.

And Synthesis, {as if it wasn't obvious enough that it involved you jumping right into the beam of light} means melding Synths and Organics, or if you've been paying attention, becoming a Reaper.

I've just completed the genophage cure, Aquitas in the Minos Wasteland is indicating again, but I've just found something that I had not in previous games, close to Aquitas the ship passes through something but the scanners do not pick up whatever it is, as you look at the map it's lower left of Aquitas, the ship his making that noise when you pass through something unseen like fuel reserves but the scanner picks up nothing.

Ok, another point about the Anderson noise in the Collector Base Room...

Notice how this scene is almost identical to the part where Hackett says "Commander", then there's a noise, and you ascend to the Catalyst.

I noticed this quite a while ago too. Quite odd, especially considering that it had a mission in ME2.

I don't know, but if it was a bug I'm pretty sure it would have been dealt with in the EC, heck enough folk posted about it.

And perhaps most importantly of all, we do not owe literalists an explanation. We don't have to justify ourselves to them. Almost all the literalists that demand explanations are belligerent hemorrhoids anyway. That's just not how this works. How this works is that we share evidence and theories, and each person decides for themselves what to believe. And that's exactly how it should be.

The whole Arrival DLC is perhaps the best evidence for IT* but, after reading The Final Hours (app) last night, I'm not so sure they intended to carry it through. There was a flow chart of the plot in Chapter 7 and there's no hint of IT. That doesn't rule it out though, they may have made that chart specifically without mentioning it, for The Final Hours.


Edit: * = I mean, it has been mentioned, the whole fact that it's a solo mission is just a huge plot point, it means that ONLY Shep gets exposed.
